Shivraj Patil declares Sri Krishna Jihadi

The Congress-led UPA government did everything possible to peddle the false narrative against Hindu/saffron terror. It also tried to pass the draft proposal of an oppressive and regressive Communal Violence Bill. But as they say, old habits die hard. Even after dismal performance and outright rejection by the public for its blatant appeasement politics, Congress has not shredded away its shameless “vote bank” politics.

Mental Diarrhoea of Former Union Home Minister, claims Bhagwan Krishna gave lessons on jihad to Arjuna

The Former Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil claimed that use of power is justified if someone doesn’t understand clean ideas. However, he went further in trivialising JIHAD. Shivraj Patil claimed that Jihad not only find mentions in Quran Sharif but has been stated in Gita and Christianity.

The 87-year-old Congress leader Shivraj Patil said, “It’s said there is a lot of discussion on Jihad in Islam religion. Even after all efforts, if someone doesn’t understand clean ideas, then power can be used. It is not just in the Quran Sharif, but also in the Mahabharata of which the Gita is a part”.

Apparently, his alleged Hindu phobia statement didn’t stop there. He made an obnoxious claim that Shri Krishna talked to Arjuna about JIHAD and gave his take on the prophecy of Christ.

Shivraj Patil added, “Shri Krishna also talks to Arjuna about jihad. It is not like this is only in the Quran Sharif or the Gita but in Christianity also it is written. Christ has said that I have not come here to establish peace but I have come here with a sword”.

#WATCH | It's said there's a lot of discussion on Jihad in Islam… Even after all efforts, if someone doesn't understand clean idea, power can be used, it's mentioned in Quran & Gita… Shri Krishna taught lessons of Jihad to Arjun in a part of Gita in Mahabharat: S Patil, ex-HM pic.twitter.com/iUvncFEoYB

In an attempt to give reasoning for his reprehensible remarks, Shivraj Patil said,“If after explaining everything, people are not understanding, they are coming with weapons then you cannot run, you cannot call that jihad and you cannot call it wrong, this is what must be understood, there should not be this concept of making people understand with weapons in hand”.

The Former UPA Minister made these vile Hindu phobic commentary while addressing the audience at a book launch of Congress’ former Union Minister Mohsina Kidwai. Several top Congress leaders and other politicians were also present during the book launch. The key attendees included Congress leaders Shashi Tharoor, Digvijaya Singh, Sushil Kumar Shinde and National Conference Chief Farooq Abdullah.

BJP was quick to launch scathing attacks at Congress party for the despicable remark of the former UPA Home Minister Shivraj Patil. The saffron party spokesperson lambasted Congress for making such remarks and highlighted the past incidents of alleged Hindu phobia and Hindu hatred of the Congress party.

After AAP’s Gopal Italia & Rajendra Pal, not to be outdone in Hindu hatred & votebank politics,Congress’ Shivraj Patil says Shri Krishna taught “Jihad” to Arjun!

Congress coined Hindu/Saffron terror, opposed Ram Mandir,Questioned Ram JI’s existence, said Hindutva = ISIS 1/n pic.twitter.com/Xiw7v4mgHa

Hindu phobic past of Congress

This is not the first time that certain big wigs in Congress have tried to demean Hinduism and defend Jihad with morally corrupt and baseless analogies. Earlier, on the issue of Ram Setu in Honourable Courts, the Congress government back then questioned the existence of Prabhu Shri Ram. It also played spoilsport to hinder the legal battle for the birthplace of Maryada Purushottam ShriRam.

Not to forget that it was Congress-led UPA government that ran a truck load of bunkum to peddle a false narrative of saffron terror and falsely equated radical Islam and Hindutva. Even Congress leader Digvijay Singh had openly accused that the 26/11 was not a terrorist act of Pakistan rather of Hindus and RSS.

However, when the conspiracy and backlash escalated, Former UPA HM Patil tried to clarify claiming that it was not he who used the term, Jihad. But even in his clarification he didn’t stop from deranging Krishna’s lessons to Arjun.

He said, “It is you who is calling it jihad. Would you call Krishna’s lessons to Arjun, Jihad? No, that is what I said”.

If Congress leaders keep on making such vile commentary about Hinduism and defend the indefensible with such audacious shamelessness then the Congress party will soon become a thing of the past and a political history and Its attempts to get an image makeover with farce of an election through the so-called Bharat Jodo Yatra will fail miserably.
