Buddhists cancel Rajendra Pal Gautam

The British used the cruel divide and rule tactics to maintain their oppressive Imperial regime. Sadly, even after ‘political’ Independence, Politicians carried forward the reprehensible tactics of the British. They created wedges that didn’t exist earlier or widened the rifts to a greater extent to further their political gains.

The Aam Aadmi Party made a grand political entry with the hope of reforming politics and ending the communal as well as casteist politics. Unfortunately, as soon as it got hold over power, it took divide and rule tactics to new heights and sowed the seeds of anti-Hindu feelings in the cohesive societies.

Trouble mounting for AAP leader Rajendra Pal Gautam

Recent developments suggest that the troubles for AAP leader Rajendra Pal Gautam are far from over. The rabid Hindu hater AAP leader made headlines for converting nearly 10,000 Hindus at a public event. In the event he spewed venom against Hinduism and administered the oath of denouncing Hindu Gods and Goddess among other vows.

When the controversy spiralled, he was forced to resign from his ministerial posts. However, AAP, which gloats of a clean image, didn’t disassociate itself from the bigoted leader. It didn’t even condemn the reprehensible statements of its leader. It neither held its communal leader to task nor held him accountable for his anti-Hindu statements.

AAP saves bigoted leader but Buddhists denounce anti-Hindu Rajendra Gautam

But now, he may be eyeing at legal troubles in the near future. Several Buddhist organisations have come out in open to denounce the vile commentary of AAP leader Rajendra Pal Gautam who recently accepted Buddhism.

Many Buddhist organisations have written a letter to President Daupadri Murmu. In their letter they have demanded that legal action should be initiated against AAP MLA Rajendra Pal Gautam. The organisations denounced the content and statements made during the controversial mass conversion event.

Also Read: With the approval of Kejriwal, his minister is on a mass conversion spree

In the letter, the Buddhist organisations stated that whatever happened in the mass conversion event was neither in accordance with Buddhism nor in accordance with the teachings of Lord Buddha.

The letter stated that no religion of the country allows to insult other faiths. Rajendra Pal Gautam, being a minister in the Delhi government, insulted Hindu deities and constitution. This comes under serious criminal cases and strict action should be taken against him.

The signatories to the letter include 19 Monks from various Buddhist organisations including Rajesh Lamba. He is the national General Secretary of ‘Dharma Sanskriti Sangam’.

Also Read: There goes Gujarat. Kejriwal’s aide ensures massive drubbing for the Aam Aadmi Party

The organisations said, “Buddhism does not spread hatred towards any community and is not against any religion. Buddhism is not against any god rather it works in cooperation with other religions. In the teachings of Lord Buddha, there is a spirit of ‘Appa Deepo Bhava’, ‘Awaken Yourself’, ‘Sarva Dhamma’, ‘Sarva Dharma Sambhava’, that is to respect all religions.”

AAP’s legislator from Seemapuri earlier held the portfolio of Minister of Social Welfare in the Arvind Kejriwal government. He argued that the controversial oath was part of Bhimrao Ambedkar’s 22 vows. He claimed that Ambedkar took the oath while joining Buddhism in 1956.

It is ironic that AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal is touring poll bound states hinting himself to be the Kalki incarnation of Krishna Bhagwan. But he has not uttered any word condemning the bigoted mindset of his leader who was sharing power with him till a week back. On the contrary, the AAP leader and his support system has been working on a war level to justify the commentary of that mass conversion event.

The party is forgetting that the loud cacophony of its communal leaders can’t trifle the sane voice among Hindus or Buddhists. The party’s despicable divide and rule tactics have been called out by the Buddhist organisations and spreading anti-Hindu hatred will only attract the fate of Congress.
