Yakub Memon grave beautification: How long will India allow terror sympathisers to do their bidding?

Yakub Memon grave beautification Case: Do you know, what is more dangerous than a man wielding the gun or committing acts of terror? The only answer to that is the ecosystem that is responsible for brainwashing individuals and providing them with all the necessary logistical and moral justification for their acts of terrorism. This ecosystem peddles ideology of hatred to further their nefarious anti-India agendas. They promote or justify acts of Jihad in the garb of fight against the false-perceived injustice done against them.

The Indian Armed forces in the Kashmir valley have shown that if the terror ecosystem is crushed, several brainwashed terrorists can be brought back to the mainstream of development from the evil clutches of radicalisation and terrorism. Unfortunately, Maharashtra has witnessed a completely contrasting policy where the terror sympathisers are shamelessly bolstering terrorists and the previous administrations seems to have played hand in glove with this anti-India ecosystem.

Eulogising terrorists – Pinnacle of Appeasement politics

The demon of appeasement politics is shamelessly waving its head in Maharashtra. Several politicians drunk on appeasement are finding a soft corner for the dreaded convicted terrorist Yakub Memon. Apparently, an appalling case of lionising a terrorist has emerged in the state.

Reportedly, the grave of 1993 Mumbai bomb blast convict Yakub Memon was going through a beautification phase. The grave of terrorist Yakub Memon was being lit up with halogen and LED lights. Additionally, it was getting an overhaul with granite marble for its lavish construction. The terrorist’s grave was being converted into a Mazar.

However, some sense prevailed and the administration took notice of this grave act of lionising the dreaded terrorist Yakub Memon. The Mumbai Police intervened and removed the halogen and LED lights. The police found that the family of terrorist Yakub Memon was carrying out this filthy grave beautification process.

Pathetic! Politicians provided moral support for such acts

An intense political slugfest erupted after this shameful act came to light. BJP lambasted the former Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government and accused it of granting permission to build a memorial over the grave. Several leaders pointed fingers at Uddhav Thackeray and claimed that the grave was turned into Mazar when he was the Chief Minister of the state. They also questioned his patriotism.

The supposed Hindutva party Uddhav Sena tried to distance itself from this treacherous terror sympathising act. They questioned the handing over the terrorist body to his family.

Uddhav Sena leader and leader of opposition Ambadas Danve said, “The allegations levelled by BJP against us are baseless. The question here is why the body was handed over to the family. The beautification of the grave with the help of granite and marble was done five years ago.”

However, the NC leaders projected this beautification of terrorist’s grave as a display of public love.

NC leader Mustafa Kamal said, “It’s a display of love. It neither weakens religion nor is it wrong. He died. Those who were pained will give themselves to this grave…”

Government swung into action

It is important that such anti-social acts should be dealt with firmly and all the terror sympathisers should be brought to justice. Evidently, the Shinde-BJP government announced an inquiry in the Yakub Memon grave beautification case. CM Eknath Shinde reassured that strict actions will be taken against the collaborators of this act.

Dastardly Mumbai Bomb blasts

In the March of 1993, Bombay was rocked by a cycle of bomb blasts that took away the lives of 257 innocent civilians and left more than 700 with grave injuries. In a short span 13 explosions were carried out at different locations with the first bomb set off at Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). Later explosions happened in the Air India building, government offices, many hotels, banks, a bus, cinemas, two hospitals, a university and markets.

Earlier that year, more than 500 civilians lost their lives in Hindu-Muslim clashes. The key conspirators of that terror attacks were mafia don Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar and his close aide and Yakub’s brother Ibrahim ‘Tiger’ Memon. Yakub Memon is the lone convict of that dastardly 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts. Along with the support of the Islamo-leftist ecosystem, he used all the legal recourse available to any Indian citizen to evade his Karma and death sentence. Yet, courts and the President rejected all his clemency appeals analysing the dastardly terror acts he was wilfully involved in.

The Judicial system went further to hold a midnight hearing for the first time ever, to dispel all the crocodile tears of the anti-India and terror sympathising lobby.

Even after getting such disproportionate avenues for the terrorist Yakub Memon, the lobby keeps crying like hyenas and claim Injustice in the case.

The other injustice to Yakub Memon was in the execution chamber http://t.co/FR06wSDhQ9 via @scroll_in

— Asaduddin Owaisi (@asadowaisi) August 26, 2015

It is important that Judicial system and government take strict actions against such anti-India lobby giving legal and moral shield to dreaded terrorists. To end terrorism, strict actions need to be taken against its enablers, propagators, and the ecosystem which crop nefarious agendas to peddle false narrative of oppression and Injustice against minorities. It is high time that the terror sympathising ecosystem is dismantled at the earliest otherwise the menace will keep cropping its head in varied names of Ajmal Kasab, Mohammad Afzal or Yakub Memon.
