Karma hits back at Sanjay Raut

Patra Chawl scam

Have you heard the famous saying, `Empty vessels make the most sound’. Apparently, the same applies to humans too. Some megalomaniacs show their arrogance and pretend as if they have the knowledge about anything and everything. They have a foot in their mouth. They puke utter rubbish thinking it to be ‘words of wisdom’. But the fact is that they are nothing but an empty vessel.

These melodramatic, self-obsessed people become a ‘threat’ to society when they get the taste of power. Apparently, Maharashtra witnessed this worst cocktail possible in the form of ubiquitous Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut. Apart from his verbal diarrhea, it is alleged that he scammed around Rs 1,034 crores in the name of redevelopment work in Patra Chawl.

Karma pays back in Compound Interest

In the intervening night of 31st July – 1st August, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested Uddhav Sena’s RS MP Sanjay Raut.

The arrest followed a six-hour long questioning by the ED officials, on Sunday, 31st July. Earlier, on Sunday Morning, the ED officials raided the residence of Uddhav Sena’s Spokesperson Sanjay Raut. The raid continued for around nine hours. As per news reports, the ED seized Rs 11.50 lakhs unaccounted cash from Raut’s residence, ‘Maitri’ in Bhandup.

This prompted the ED to summon MP Raut for questioning in the alleged Patra Chawl scam. Later, the ED, in their office, grilled Mr. Raut related to the transactions involving his wife and ‘associates’ in the alleged scam.

The ED officials were not satisfied with the evasive tactics of the MP and had to arrest him. He will now be produced in court in which ED may seek 10-day custody to get to the bottom of the scam.

Earlier in April, the ED had attached immovable properties of Rs 11 Crores under PMLA act in this alleged Patra Chawl scam. The attached asset included land held by Pravin Raut, close aide of Sanjay Raut, and Varsha Raut, wife of Sanjay Raut.

ED has provisionally attached immovable properties of Rs 11Cr under PMLA in Patrachawal redevelopment Project case. The attached assets are in form of lands held by Pravin Raut at Palghar, flat at Dadar of Smt Varsha Raut and plots at Alibaug held by Varsha Raut and Swapna Patkar.

Pretentious Mr Raut

The false bravado of the MP was visible on Sunday as well. In a fake attempt to exuberant confidence he kept chest thumping to put on a brave face.

Additionally, he tried to play both the sentiments, emotional as well as ‘warrior pride’. In a ‘purely’ “coincidental” media glare he was seen in an emotional mood with his family (don’t know why everyone is calling it scripted sobbing scenes).

Contrary to that, in his entourage to the ED office, he kept overdoing confident gestures, waving his saffron Pattka.

In interactions with the media, he played the victim card and projected himself as a martyr of Centre’s conspiracy.

Still drunk on Power

One of the prime reasons for the debacle of Former CM Uddhav Thackeray and pre-rebellion Shiv Sena is none other than loudmouth Sanjay Raut. He kept blabbering obnoxious things, giving wielded as well as direct threats. He drew sadistic pleasure on letting loose his ‘arms of power’ against his naysayers including the infamous “Ukhaad dia jibe” on Bulldozing actor Kangana Ranaut’s house. He tried to project his machismo by sending street thugs to beat an armed force veteran black and blue.

Also Read: ‘Murder Culture’ is Maharashtrian culture – Sanjay Raut’s latest gafffe

This arrogance has not ended even now. As the heat of law intensified in the alleged Patra Chawl scam, he started threatening the witnesses of the case. Apparently an audio is going viral in which it is claimed that he went berserk and threatened Patra Chawl witness Swapna Patkar. In the call recording, the man claimed to be Sanjay Raut is hurling a truck load of derogatory words at Swapna. Police have registered an FIR against Sanjay Raut in regard to this threatening call.

Mumbai | An FIR has been registered against Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut at Vakola police station under sections 504,506 and 509 of IPC for allegedly threatening Swapna Patkar (a witness in the Patra Chawl land case).

— ANI (@ANI) July 31, 2022

The Rajya Sabha MP with his controversial and arrogant behaviour has besmirched the reputation of the Upper House. He is single handedly responsible for the downfall of pre-rebellion Shiv Sena and kowtowing it before the “Secular” parties like Sharad Pawar-led NCP and Gandhis-led Congress.

Even after breaking the law and misusing power multiple times he evaded the law because of his own party being in power. But the times have changed; rule of law will not be trampled this time. This behemoth of alleged Corruption in Patra Chawl will bring him the fruition of his Karma that too in compound interest.

This vindicates the fact that the wheels of Justice turn slowly but it grinds exceedingly fine. This must be a hard lesson for him to learn as arrogance is an enemy of knowledge and reality. The loudmouth Sanjay Raut who imagined himself as the most astute mind on the planet is now reaping the fruits of his karma.
