PM Narendra Modi has been working with the motto Reform, Perform and Transform. This has drastically improved the ease of doing business in the nation. This has incessantly attracted record high investments in our economy. Additionally, PM Modi has been a vocal supporter of minimum government and maximum governance. This has ended needless red-tapism and bureaucratic hurdles making the departments work effectively. Both these principles of PM Modi have been witnessed during the recently concluded 5G-spectrum allotment.

Leadership at work-Right at the top and at the helm of telecom. What a Change ! Change that can transform this nation – power its dreams to be a developed nation”.
A great turn around
As vindicated by nation’s second largest telecom player Bharti Airtel, Modi government has successfully completed the 5G spectrum allocation in quick time, through open and transparent auctioning. The government carried out this humongous task even after having more players in the telecom sector as compared to the time of 2G spectrum.

That is why this successful 5G spectrum allocation is a complete contrast to the awful scenario that took place during the 2G spectrum allocation. Back then, the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) was in power and it was accused of meddling in the allotment process to benefit its cronies. The Ministers used to dole out bank loans. It was accused of doing the same in allocating these spectrums. The then Congress government had needless bureaucratic hurdles which kept the important things clogged.
The praise direct from the horse’s mouth clearly vindicates the fact that India has moved ahead of the pathetic times of crony capitalism and needless bureaucratic hurdles or Ministerial meddling for their petty gains at the expense of the nation’s interest. India is charting new success in ease of doing business and this was clearly witnessed in this 5G spectrum allotment.
