The heart wrenching killing of Ankita Kumari at the hands of a Jihadi is a crude example of their cruel hypocrisy.
Cry for Justice from a Power hungry narcissist
On 23rd of August, a class 12th student, Ankita Kumari was set ablaze by a stalking neighbour named Shahrukh Hussain for rejecting his proposal and advances. The Islamic psychopath poured petrol through the window of her house and set the place ablaze, when she was sleeping. She had suffered severe burn injuries and struggled for four days. Ankita Kumari breathed her last at 2:30 A.M. on 28th of August in RIMS hospital, Ranchi. Until her last breath, she kept asking every visitor honestly if she would survive?

Reportedly, Shahrukh was threatening Ankita, to convert to Islam and marry her otherwise he would make her life a living hell or even kill her. Later, her fear came true and Shahrukh carried out this horrific crime.

As per media reports, Ankita Kumari, in a critical state, told Police that her neighbour, stalker Shahrukh Hussain used to harass her on a daily basis. He even obtained her contact number and would ask her to accept his proposals. When Ankita confronted him, he threatened to ruin her life and kill her. The Police arrested Shahrukh Hussain for this dastardly act. At the time of his arrest, he can be seen gleefully smiling with his chest swelled in pride.

The parents, family, friends and public are demanding that strict action should be taken against the killer Shahrukh Hussain. They are demanding that the accused Shahrukh be served death penalty as they consider it to be the fit case of rare of the rarest case.

Instead of strict actions, the Jharkhand government seems apathetic towards their demands for Justice. Several Hindu organisations have protested against this crime asking for Justice to the departed soul.
Jharkhand government looks the other way round
There can’t be more glaring evidence of power hunger and appeasement politics than the state apathy with parents of deceased child Ankita Kumari. At a time when the blood soaked hands of a devastated parents are crying for Justice for Ankita, CM Soren preferred to enjoy lavish outings with his colleagues. It is reported that he has gone on a picnic with other party MLAs.

Opposition leaders launched an attack against the inactions of the Soren government in this horrific case. Several questions are being raised over the Police officials overseeing this case. They are being blamed for being soft against such culprits for appeasement tactics. Evidently, Former CM and BJP leader Babulal Marandi raised questions around the Police officials and the hospital in which Ankita was being treated.

अंकिता हत्या कांड में जिस डीएसपी नूर मुस्तफ़ा के काम्यूनल भूमिका व अभियुक्त शाहरुख़ को बचाने के आरोप को लेकर लोग उबल रहे हैं,वह अधिकारी घोर आदिवासी विरोधी है, उस इलाक़े में कोयला,बालू, पत्थर चोरी के सरगनाओं का संरक्षक व हिस्सेदार रहा है।

It is not a strange phenomenon, for appeasement politics, secular politicians behave like Gandhi’s three monkeys which can’t hear, see or speak (condemn) such communal crimes and look the other way round. The changed reality can be summed up like this- The whispers of some glorified thugs can trample the scream of a dying Hindus. It seems that only courts are the last resort for Justice in this case.
