Arjun Reddy, a 2017 huge Telugu smash starring Vijay Deverakonda, served as Vanga’s debut film. It went on to become one of the most grossing Hindi films of all time with its 2019 adaptation Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor.
Struggling Phase of His Life
In 2005, Vanga spent 25 days working as an apprentice at Rushikonda Beach in Vizag for the movie Manasu Maata Vinadhu. He collaborated with Kiran Kumar and Malli Malli in the Tollywood film Kedi (2010) as assistant director. Alongside Kranthi Madhav, Idi Rani Roju (2015) served as associate director. He began drafting the script for his upcoming directorial debut, Sugar Factory but put it on hold to begin working for Arjun Reddy.
Career
In 2013, Vanga began writing the script for Arjun Reddy, and he completed it in one year. The movie’s producer Swapna Dutt and actor Sharwanand expressed interest in participating, but it didn’t work out because Sharwaand already had many projects lined up.
He met Vijay Deverakonda through a mutual buddy. In his first film as a filmmaker, Arjun Reddy, chose him to play the lead. The movie went on to receive overwhelmingly positive reviews. On a budget of 4-5 crores, the movie was made, and it ended up making more than 50 crores (US$8 million) at the box office. The movie had issues with the censor board since it showed smoking and drug usage. It also caused a stir for its kissing scenes and for a movie poster that Telangana Film Chamber had approved.

The next year, Vanga appeared in the biographical movie Mahanati in a cameo role as Vedantam Raghaviah. The movie was filmed starting in July 2018 and released on June 21, 2019, where it was a financial success.
Animal, a mobster drama starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol, was revealed as Vanga’s upcoming film in January 2021. T-Series, Bhadrakhali Pictures, and Cine1Studios are the producers. Spirit, his upcoming film, was announced in October 2021. It will be Prabhas’ 25th movie, and it will be co-produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.

Short biography of Sandeep Reddy Vanga
Sandeep Reddy Vanga was born to Prabhakar Reddy and Sujatha in Warangal, Telangana. Pranay Reddy Vanga, his older brother, is the producer of the movie Arjun Reddy. He attended Platinum Jubilee High School in Warangal until the eighth grade before moving to Hyderabad to finish his education from the ninth grade to the twelfth grade. He graduated from SDM College of Physiotherapy in Dharwad with a bachelor’s degree.
Vanga left Vizag to pursue his studies at the International Film School in Sydney, Australia (now known as AFTT – Academy of Film, Theatre & Television).
Family
In 2014, Vanga wed Manisha. The couple has a son and a daughter.
