It is not a hidden fact that the CCP is fast turning into the Nazi Party of the present world order and the Turkic-speaking minority, the Uyghur Muslims, the victims of cruelty of CCP are the Jews of the 21st century. The CCP is busy with ethnic cleansing of the entire Uyghur Muslim community through systematic and institutionalised measures. In its recent attempt, the Chinese government has attempted to stop the UN from exposing the ongoing oppression of the minority community in China.
China attempts to stop Human Rights report
According to a report published by Reuters, China is attempting to stop the release of a highly-anticipated report based on the oppression of Ugyuhr Mulsims. Reuters has accessed a letter written by the Chinese government to the UN chief Michelle Bachelet, and the publication has made the claim based on admission/confirmation of diplomats from three countries.
The letter, authored by the CCP government, expressed “grave concern” about the report that talks about human rights violations in the Xinjiang province of the country.
China is using UN as a tool
Geopolitical observers have raised concerns about China and other countries, regarding their habit of lobbying in the Geneva-based council to drum up support. This is done through diplomatic memos. And the recent letter of China can be seen as evidence of the paper dragon seeking to influence Bachelet.
Earlier the paper dragon earlier also attempted to use the United Nations as a tool for achieving its hegemonic ambitions and establish itself as supreme in the ever evolving world order. China left no stone unturned in using the international organisation for its personal interests. Some example to which are, China’s assimilation of BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) into the UNSDGs (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals), providing monetary incentives to secure the support of other member states, increasing the number of Chinese nationals into the UN, and ultimately brushing its grave human rights violations under the carpet. And the misuse of power is not just limited to the United Nations, rather China has also been using the World Health Organisation and Interpol as its stooge.
China needs to be isolated
China has been guilty of misusing every resource it has for its own interest and the paper dragon has not even barred its permanent seat at the UN. Thus, it’s high time that the democracies of the world should come together and kick out China from any formal grouping. Ideally, seeing its authoritarian administration, China shouldn’t have been offered dominating powers at the global level in the first place.
The second way out and the more practical one at that is working towards isolating China economically. China established its hegemony through its economy, however, its economy is on a decline. Adding to that, the democracies around the world should now come together and work towards establishing democratic preferential trade. The world is dependent on the paper dragon for essentials like; Steel and Semiconductor, India is a booming market for semiconductor chips and subsequent options for steel should be found out. This is the only way available to cut the paper dragon to size. This will inturn clip the expansionist dreams of the CCP too.
