Be it the Shaheen Bagh protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and the National Register of Citizens or the recent violence against Nupur Sharma’s statements over Prophet Mohammed, a similar pattern has been observed. Islamists seem to have adopted a new model for spreading anarchy in India. Train them young, teach them violence and instil the hate towards ‘Kafirs’. This is what the Islamists are doing to use children in “violent demonstrations.”
Kids urinating on Nupur Sharma’s picture
A video is making rounds on social media that displays Muslim children urinating on a picture of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. In the video, while the two children are urinating on Nupur’s photograph, others are cheering them on.
Urinating on Nupur’s portrait was done only to humiliate her. The children wanted to punish now suspended Nupur Sharma for daring to give them the taste of their own medicine. The video clearly suggests that these children have been taught that it is fine to urinate on a woman’s face.
Kids leading the protest over Nupur Sharma’s remarks
The hundreds-strong demonstration turned violent after Friday Namaz when miscreants present in the crowd began hurling stones at police personnel. The pictures of the protests going viral on social media clearly suggest that Islamists weren’t brave enough to lead the protests themselves and thus, have used kids as the shield.
Witnessing the involvement of the children in the protests and violence, the apex child rights body NCPCR has also alleged that children have been used in many of these “violent demonstrations”, and that it would take strict legal action in the matter.
“Instances of use of children in violent demonstrations have come to notice again today. Strict legal action will be taken and not a single extremist (charampanthi) will be spared,” Priyank Kanoongo said in a tweet in Hindi.

Anti-social elements used children to pelt stones at police and authorities during the violent protests over inflammatory remarks on Prophet Muhammad in Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj on Friday, a top cop has informed.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ajay Kumar told, “Anti-social elements used minor kids to hurl stones at police and administration. Case registered under 29 crucial sections. Action will be taken under Gangster Act and NSA.”
Meanwhile, an “appeal” has been made on social media by Ittehad-e-Millat Council which is a Bareilly-based political party run by Maulana Tauqeer Raza. He has asked women and children to reach the city’s Islamia Ground in large numbers on Friday, to stage a protest against Nupur Sharma.
UP Police, however, has warned them saying that “Using kids in a protest is a crime under the Juvenile Justice Act and anyone found guilty will be slapped with Gangster Act.”
Minors’ provocative slogans at PFI rally
It was only last month when a police case was registered in Kerala after a boy was seen shouting hate slogans during a political rally. The reports of the child making such slogans came after Kerala High Court expressed concerns about children being used in political and religious rallies.
The video reportedly shows the boy sitting on the shoulders of a man, and spewing venomous words against people belonging to Hindu and Christian communities in Kerala.
“Aren’t they fostering a new generation that grows up with religious hatred in their minds? When this child grows up and becomes a major, his mind will already be conditioned to this kind of rhetoric. Something must be done,” Justice Gopinath had said while observing a case.
Children involved in the violent protest against CAA
The waves of anti-CAA and NRC protests across the country had resulted in only violence and rioting. It happened not only in Delhi but all across the nation. During the common thread of violence, what could be seen at almost every other protest site was the use of little children as pawns of propaganda. In the garb of protests, innocent children were being instigated and radicalised. In some cases, they were being used in violence-related activities. The people of the nation were left to wonder if these protestors really were against the government or wanted to divide the nation by brain-washing children.

Earlier as reported by TFI, in 2020, the SIT probing the anti-CAA violence in Uttar Pradesh had charged 33 arrested people, for provoking children to pelt stones during the protests against the amended law.
It is very unfortunate to note that the protestors had their kids accompanying them. Kids of the age who cannot pronounce the alphabets were also seen in the protests, courtesy of their cowardly parents.
The use of kids is a part of a sinister ploy — cops can’t take action if kids involved, and even if they do, the protesters get to blame cops and entangle them in human rights issues. At a tender age when children should be out there playing, studying and enjoying the wonders of childhood, they are being subjected to such extremism.
