We are shocked about people who are shocked about Rahul’s tryst with Corbyn. What did you expect?

Every individual is supposed to perform the job he has been assigned. A journalist’s duty is to present the truth. Thus, if you see a journalist reporting about a particular incident, will you be shocked? No, right?

Likewise, a policemen’s duty is to prevent chaos and anarchy in the state. So, if you come across a policeman interrogating a criminal, will you question him for doing so? Absolutely, not.

If you will not object to these people then why there’s so much noise about what Rahul Gandhi did during his visit to London. He has always been ‘popular’ for demeaning India and supporting anti-India forces as well. What did you expect from the Gandhi scion?

Rahul Gandhi meets Jeremy Corbyn

Remember when Actor and Comedian Vir Das performed at The Kennedy Center theatre in Washington D.C.? He read a monologue titled ‘Two Indias’ in which he made a disgraceful attempt to defame India.

While the whole nation came together to criticise the comedian for demeaning his own country on an international platform, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi seems to be inspired by him.

Thus, Rahul Gandhi met Britain’s Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn in London on Monday and the Indian Overseas Congress shared the picture of the two along with Sam Pitroda. Moreover, he has also demeaned India on an international platform.

Corbyn’s anti-India views

What is wrong with meeting a political leader, you may ask? Well, it is the anti-India stance of Corbyn that has troubled those with the ideology in the interest of the nation. Corbyn, who served as leader of the Labour party and leader of the Opposition from 2015 to 2020 in the UK, has been quite vocal about his criticism of India.

The entire world except for the terrorist country of Pakistan has unanimously accepted the abrogation of Article 370 as an internal matter of India. However, Britain’s Leader of Opposition and Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn has a hard time accepting this as reality. His tweet on the issue exposed his party’s prejudicial approach towards India.

Corbyn had tweeted, “The situation in Kashmir is deeply disturbing. Human rights abuses taking place are unacceptable. The rights of the Kashmiri people must be respected and UN resolutions implemented.”

The Labour Party led by Attlee was in power from 1945 to 1951. It was the Labour Party which steered India towards a partition by introducing the Cabinet Mission Plan and later on divided the then British India by introducing the India Independence Act.

Jeremy Corbyn also called radical Islamist terror organisations like the Hamas and Hezbollah his, and Britain’s friends at large.

This is exactly why people are shocked and thus, slam Rahul Gandhi for meeting Corbyn. However, little do they understand that there is nothing to be shocked out. Rahul Gandhi has a thing for those with anti-India ideology.

BJP leader and Union law minister Kiren Rijiju shared a picture of Gandhi’s meeting with Corbyn and attacked the former Congress president for going against his own country.

“Again Rahul Gandhi meets UK MP and Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn who is known for his hatred and dislike for India, advocates Kashmir’s secession. Or how long and how much one can go on against one’s own country,” Rijiju tweeted.

Rahul Gandhi has a thing for anti-Indians

During the three-day Chintan shivir organised by Congress in Udaipur, Rajasthan to contemplate a revival strategy, the party scion went on a tirade yet again and made foolish statements.

“Some days back, I made a speech when I said, India, Bharat is a union of states. That is the line that is written in our constitution. India is not described as a nation but as a union of states. The states of India and its people have come together to form the union. And it is critical for the union of this country that the states and the people are allowed to have a constitution,” said Rahul.

Moreover, he made some rather condescending remarks about the Indian Foreign Service during the ‘Ideas for India’ conference.

Gandhi said, “I was talking to some bureaucrats from Europe and they were saying that the Indian foreign service completely changed, they do not listen to anything. They are arrogant… There is no conversation.”

During his speech at the Cambridge University, making a bizarre observation about the development of the Constitution, Congress Vice-President also remarked, “What emerged out of freedom movement was a negotiation between these states and identities and religion. So, India emerged bottom-up and all these states UP, Maharashtra, Assam, and Tamil Nadu got together and negotiated peace. From this union of states, which required a conversation, emerged the instrument of that conversation- the Constitution, the idea that one man will have one vote, the election system, the IITs, and the IIMs.”

Read more: From calling India rape capital to creating Hindu Terror myth, Rahul Gandhi’s rich track record of anti-India, anti-Hindu remarks will infuriate every Indian

He had once made a shocking, anti-India statement calling India the rape capital of the world. Rahul, in an attempt to politicise the public anger and the victims’ suffering, said, “India is known as the rape capital of the world. Foreign nations are asking a question of why India is unable to look after its daughters and sisters. A BJP legislator in Uttar Pradesh is involved in the rape of a woman and the Prime Minister did not say a single word about this.”

In 2016, for example, Rahul Gandhi had gone on to support those raising anti-national slogans at the JNU. The same year, Junior Gandhi’s anti-India stance got exposed once again when he asked for proof of the Surgical Strikes carried out by the Indian armed forces in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. The former Congress President Rahul Gandhi had also drawn fire for his “khoon ki dalali” remark about PM Modi following the surgical strikes.

A year later, Rahul again came into the limelight for his anti-India stand, when he secretly met the Chinese ambassador, Luo Zhaoui.

It would take us a book to write about every instance when the Rahul Gandhi scion made anti-India choices. Thus, the recent meeting with Corbyn doesn’t really come as a surprise.
