Sharjeel Imam has done a lot of things, mostly very bad things. He thought he would lead India’s Islamist uprising, but it has all, very visibly, turned out to be a big failure. Imam had given a venomous speech, calling on the Muslim community to cut off Assam and Northeast India from the rest of the country. However, it is the time for him to pay for his deeds. No, not deeds but misdeeds. Thus, Sharjeel Imam has been slapped with sedition and other charges by the Delhi court.
Imam’s journey to jail gets harder
In a recent development, Delhi court framed sedition and other charges against former Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student Sharjeel Imam on Tuesday. He had given inflammatory speeches at the Jamia area in Delhi in December 2019 and at Aligarh Muslim University, Uttar Pradesh in January 2020 to incite violence during anti-CAA protest.
Additional sessions judge Amitabh Rawat observed that the charges against Sharjeel Imam have been framed under Sections 124A ( sedition), 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, etc.), 153B (imputations, assertions prejudicial to national integration), 505 (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 13 of Unlawful Activities ( Prevention) Act (UAPA).
The court observed, “This is a case under UAPA. Since the bail has been denied to the accused on January 24 and this court had suggested that the trial of the case shall be completed expeditiously, the Court proposes to do day to day hearing this matter.”

Earlier in January 2022, the Court had passed the direction for framing of charges. The court had also rejected Imam’s bail in this case, which was argued by his lawyer, Tanvir Ahmed Mir. The prosecution, during arguments, told the court that his speeches give a clear indication that Muslims have no hope in India and his call to burn detention camps was not peaceful.
Sharjeel Imam – a liberal hero
A former JNU student and one of the key organisers of the Shaheen Bagh protest, Sharjeel Imam was arrested in 2020 from Bihar’s Jehanabad. He, in his venomous speech, had said, “Cutting off Assam is our responsibility. Let Assam and India be separated, only then they will listen to us. You know what the condition of Muslims is in Assam, CAA, NRC has been done over there, people have been thrown in detention camps and well, the massacre is taking place over there but in the next 6-8 months, we will find that all Bengalis have been killed, be it Hindu or Muslim. So, if we want to help Assam, we will have to close the gateway to the northeast.”

Sharjeel Imam’s interrogation had revealed that he is highly radicalized and believes that India should be an Islamic state. Imam’s radicalisation has today landed him in prison, presumably for a very long time.
As reported by the TFI, Sharjeel Imam was one of the masterminds behind anti-CAA protests and riots in the country. He was trying to establish an Islamic state in India and had no qualms in breaking the geographical integrity of Bharat. Once he had urged his brethren to cut off north-eastern states from India. Despite his anti-national remarks, Sharjeel is widely supported by the left-liberal media like NDTV and The Wire, who refer him as an activist.
I hope our obnoxiously Sickular SC does not poke its nose & over-turn the order of this lower court … I am praying for the same in the hijab case too, where Muzzies have pinned their hopes on our rabidly Sickular SC Milords 😓
Just catching hold of 1 person and handing down a kid punishment is not going to solve muslim treachary , . There are crores who are psychologically with him . stringent death sentences to vast many that are quickly awardable by agencies themselves without much court intervention is the need of the hour

The government of India must not stop with only arresting & prosecuting Muslim fundamentalists but must severely deal with the anti-India people,organizations & political parties like the scoundrel Arvind kejriwal, mani shanker iyer, harsh mander etc., Once support to these Muslim fundamentalists within our country is annihilated then these secessionist forces will themselves cease to exist. But all said & done , the truth is Hindus themselves are allowing to be harrassed and killed , especially the Hindus in kerala, Tamilnadu & west Bengal. Take for eg. the malayalee Hindus who are repeatedly voting for communist and thereby allowing the communist to interfere in the Hindu devasome board functioning besides Hindu culture& customs. Now the population of Hindus is just above 50% and sure to go below 45% in the comming decades. Needless to say, rampant conversion activities by the various denominations of Christian missionaries. Exactly the same is happening in Tamilnadu , the weakness of expecting free gifts & money for every vote by the Tamil Hindus is being exploited by the secessionist agenda oriented party like DMK.
