Politician Dharmendra Yadav: Career and achievements

Dharmendra Yadav re-elected to the 16th Lok Sabha by defeating BJP’s Vagish Pathak in the Badaun constituency. He won three successive parliamentary elections in Uttar Pradesh, the first from the Mainpuri constituency and the next two from Badaun. He is one of the young politicians of Samajwadi Party.

Birth and family

Yadav was born on 3 February 1979 in Saifai village of Etawah district, Dharmendra Yadav’s father’s name is Abhayram Yadav and mother’s name is Jai Devi.

Education and Politics

In his village Saifai, He took education up to class-VIII and after that went to Allahabad for higher education, he has also obtained LLB degree along with a Masters degree in Political Science from Allahabad University.

Dharmendra Yadav started his politics from student life, he always kept the flag of socialists high in Allahabad University. As he is completing his studies at Allahabad University, his uncle Ratan Singh Yadav’s son Ranveer Singh Yadav, who was then the head of Saifai block, passed away.

Due to this, He had to leave Allahabad and come to Saifai on the instructions of Netaji Mulayam Singh Yadav and in 2003 Dharmendra became the head of the Wall of Saifai. After that Yadav contested from Mainpuri in the 14th Lok Sabha elections of 2004 and his age was 25 years, he was declared victorious from Mainpuri by a record number of votes, as well as made a record for becoming the youngest MP in the 14th Lok Sabha.

After this Dharmendra Yadav contested from Badaun for 15th Lok Sabha and also defeated Mafia don DP Yadav, currently Yadav is MP from Badaun Lok Sabha constituency and has established his own identity by winning with record votes in Modi wave. Apart from this, he is the chairman of an important parliamentary committee and member of many other committees, as well as the chairman of UP Co-operative Bank from the year 2005 to 2007.

Achievements

Yadav has proved his political prowess in the country as well as abroad, it is in October 2012, when he addressed the United Nations General Assembly in Hindi, and brought Hindi into the discussion at the international level, he is currently In Parliament, Dharmendra Yadav has also made a record for the questions asked in the Parliament.
