Controversial yet followed by millions: Kiran Yadav

Kiran Yadav calls herself a social activist. Social media, especially Facebook, keeps on rioting. There are many pages in her name, which are followed by millions of people. There is also a Twitter handle on Twitter by the name Kiran Yadav, which has thousands of followers. Bihar Police has arrested Kiran for hurting religious sentiments. A case was registered against her on December 2.

Her story

In the Rasalpur Habib village of Vaishali district, a case of burning of a girl Gulnaz was reported. The girl was burnt by the miscreants in protest against the molestation. Later he died. In this matter, Kiran Yadav raised his voice through social media. She had gone to meet Gulnaz and his family. Kiran Yadav did Facebook live by visiting the girl’s house. The account number was also shared for help.

Later, Kiran was accused of collecting donations. It was said that he did not give money to the girl’s family after taking money from people. The matter of three lakhs came to the fore. Kiran Yadav says that earlier she had shared the account of the girl’s mother. But she said that money was not coming in our account, so I had entered my account number.

Kiran says that I have 29 thousand rupees in my account. Two thousand of these are mine, the rest are donation money. When asked why he did not give the money received in donation to the girl’s family, he said that the family did not meet. According to media reports, a complaint has been lodged against Kiran in this matter.

Kiran Yadav is a resident of Chandpura in Vaishali district. In the last two years, Kiran Yadav’s followers have increased in the number of lakhs on social media. However, he says that his Facebook ID has been deleted. By the way, there are many pages on Facebook in his name which are run by his fans. There is one such Facebook page which is followed by more than 11 lakh people.
