Pradeep John, also known as the Tamilnadu Weatherman, is a Tamil Nadu-based Indian amateur weather forecaster and blog posts. During the monsoon season, his posts of projections are more closely followed by other residents of Chennai than the forecasts published by the India Meteorological Department.
Pradeep John was born in the South Tamil Nadu district of Kanyakumari and now resides in Chennai. His fascination with weather began when he was 12 years old.

Pradeep John began working at India Infolines as a relationship manager in 2008. He is currently employed for Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Limited as a deputy manager (TNUIFSL).

The Round Table India’s Award under the tag ‘Pride of Tamil Nadu’ honored him Inspirational Achiever award in 2018 and At the CII Connect 2019, the annual information, communication and technology conference and exhibition of Tamil Nadu he won the Inspirational Role Model Award.
