Dear PM Modi, it’s time to exercise your powers. NOW!

Dear Prime Minister Narendra Modi,

We voted for you in 2019. Our vote contributed to your party winning 303 seats in the Lok Sabha. Crores of Indians voted for you. But we are disheartened. We are embarrassed. We feel humiliated. We feel vulnerable. If you are not safe, how can your voters be safe? If you are not safe, how can India be safe? How are Indians supposed to feel secure in the country when their PM is on the verge of falling prey to a well-planned assassination attempt?

Do you feel nothing for your voters? Will you let your supporters perpetually feel sorry for their electoral choices?

Enough is enough, Modi Ji. Everything has a threshold. Unfortunately, that threshold has long been broken. The BJP is considered a toothless organisation now. And much of that perception has been built because you have been playing the good-boy of Indian politics.

You need to let go of that image. Your haters will hate you no matter what you do. But if you choose to remain silent and do nothing about undemocratic forces within the country, even your supporters will lose faith in you.

What happened to you in Punjab was shameful. It was Punjab yesterday. It will be some other state tomorrow. But you can prevent such a lapse from happening again. The power to prevent it lies with you alone.

You can punish the Congress government of Punjab for endangering the life of India’s PM– voted to power democratically in the largest elections held on the face of the earth in 2019. You can crack down on Khalistani elements like nobody ever has.

But your silence will embolden them. The BJP is being hunted down in West Bengal, Telangana and Kerala. In Maharashtra, the BJP is going through hell. As states fall to India’s anarchist opposition, life will keep getting miserable for your party.

Eventually, India will be made a BJP-mukt Bharat much before it is rid of the Congress; because guess what – the Congress knows how to exercise power! It knows how authority is to be wielded. It is time you begin exercising your power as well. It is time you crush anti-India forces with decisive action.

Read more: What happened to PM Modi in Punjab was not a security lapse, it was a planned assassination attempt

You want to win over everybody. This has become your biggest weakness, Prime Minister. You need to realise you can never make everybody happy. You need to remain in the good books of your supporters and not extend repeated olive branches to your haters. You are alienating your supporters. That is not a good strategy. You need to change your strategy immediately.

If my PM is not safe in his country, what standing does the country have around the world? Is this what we want to tell the world about India? Aren’t we supposed to be a ‘Vishwaguru’?

More importantly, do you want to convince the world that acts of physical aggression against India’s PM are tolerable and will go unpunished? That should not be the case. You need to act and act decisively. You must act now!

Far too many BJP and RSS workers have sacrificed their lives for you to keep ignoring anarchists and handing them repeated long ropes. You tolerated violence against BJP in West Bengal. You did not act when they came for your party and supporters in Kerala.

Your leaders get beaten on the roads of Telangana. You did not even condemn such acts. What are you trying to prove? Now, they have come for you in Punjab. It is time to act now. Else, it will be too late. You need to dismiss the government of Punjab as soon as possible.

This is not an attack on you. Many like me support you. We know India would be a mess without you. But you need to be reminded of the office you hold, and the powers you have. Exercise them, Mr Prime Minister!

Today, Congress has established their credentials as the party most suited to lead the opposition Thug-Bandhan – Jihadi Momota’s acts of defiance like shooing away CBI teams or walking out of meeting with PM, pale into insignificance compared to this latest accomplishment of Congi’s ! 🙄 This article speaks for all Indians except SiFiLIs (Sickular Fiberal Lobby & Islamists) ! BJP should stop wailing like kids & finally show some spine !
The following could be some steps that can puncture the balloon of these Permanently Protesting Paaji’s a.k.a. Khalistani’s :

    1. Dismiss the state government and impose President’s rule. If the SC pokes its dirty nose, respond to them with all the data & legal expertise at your command … show them once & for all that limits cannot be crossed.

    2. Enough of molly-cuddling these Unruly, Seditious Paaji’s masquerading as farmers. All MSP payments to Punjab should be immediately stopped, & the amount diverted to the less fortunate but genuine farmers from other parts of India !

    3. Immediately announce that agricultural income above Rs 10 lakhs per annum will be fully taxable as per normal income tax slabs, & this amount will be transparently utilized to provide agricultural support to small farmers across India.

It won’t take long to tame these Permanently Protesting Paaji’s if the above steps are taken right away ! Modi missed an opportunity to crack the whip after the Jan 26 fiasco last year – he should not take this lying down !

Exactly That is What is needed. PM wearing communal colour will b immediately taken as AntiPunjab. Congress knows any mishap on PM will draw sympathetic votes in Punjab, UP. Don’t worry this is Power politics, fekuship, your highness

Quick help for Modi if he still doesn’t understand how to wield power :

    1. Think of Pappu ki Dadi when she was PM. She declared emergency when a HC delivered an adverse verdict against her ! She dismissed state governments almost at will by imposing President’s rule, and not many in the judiciary has the guts to let out a squeal !

    2. Think of Jihadi Momota as CM. She has treated Bengal as a separate country where the writ of Centre doesn’t run – by refusing to implement central government schemes, refusing CBI teams to conduct their operations, walking out of meeting with PM, etc. Her fear is such that even SC judges recuse themselves when any cases against her come to them.

    3. Think of Pappu ki Ammi ! When she was in power, she did a mind-boggling number of scams without ever being part of the government – by making her Pet Minion (PM) sit on the chair ! Even when she is out of power at the Centre & just a junior partner in Maharashtra, she had Arnab thrown in jail merely because he called her by her real name ! This is P O W E R … 🤗

Agree with every word of this letter.Indira, Mamata or Maino are not exactly the type of leaders one should emulate. But there are times when must put the foot down and say’ This far and no further’.The steps suggested are all valid. But the most important thing is speed.
The punishments should come so fast and so stunning that they should reverberate through all the states.People who are out on bail are feeling triumphant, a statesman of Modi’s calibre responds with a deafeneing silence! Unacceptable!

You are cent percent my mind , Modi should step down if he is not able to show his guts , dismiss punjab ,WB ,Kerala and Telengana govts . put mamata ,sonia and channi along with rakesh . dont care for any one take emergency and bring them to senses
we want to see modi in action internally .silence is no more wanted . we dont need chai pe charcha . hit the congress hard so that they are eliminated totally

    1. The problem with the BJP is not that it looses elections in a state here and there … the problem is they want to win every state. They seem to believe that only then can they establish their vision. They dont reckon that winning the centre and some key states is enuf for them to establish a Hindu rashtra. They seem still to be living the trauma of 2004 loss. They need to uncloud their vision and they need to be willing to ‘bend their fingers’ where necessary.

    2. They are forever playing the good boy in the hope that they can win over all the people of all the corners of this country for all the times. The PM is indulging in unnecessary molly-collding – he did that with the farmers as ‘anna-data’, he did that with the Sikh community as ‘saviours’,. We have seen that this mollycoddling has gone to the heads of these ‘farmers’ and sikhs who are all demanding their pound of flesh. It doesnt stop here though – he is mollycoddling doctors, soldiers. The doctors too are up in arms at the slightest (and often imaginary) insult. I shudder to think what will happen if active soldiers too join this bandwagon. Thing is every individual, every community and every group has fought and sacrificed for this country and no one should feel that he has done more and definitely not made to feel that he can expect return favour – this is the messaging that should go out and not the mollycoddling.

    3. The BJP should stop obsessing about winning every state elections and thats when this mollycoddling will stop. They should in fact not shy away from applykng dand and bhed in order to bring the anti nationals in line … most will but a few who dont can be eliminated – thats the Dharma of a Raja – willing to take blood on his damaan for the larger good!

Totally right. BJP has not followed up on a single corruption or criminal cases against prominent congress, commiee leaders. What happened to vadra land deals, chidambaram’s awesome corruption, Shashi taroor’s wife murder cases? BJP is letting these criminals go scott free and after lying low for few years these snakes will bite that. BJP leaders appear as Eunuchs when snti nationals kill their workers in Bengal and Kerala. Useless, incompetent BJP
