What happened to PM Modi in Punjab was not a security lapse, it was a planned assassination attempt

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was today scheduled to visit Punjab’s Ferozepur and dedicate to the state development works worth Rs. 42,750 crore. Instead, a chaotic mess created by the Congress party, farm law protestors and bad weather ended up causing a massive security lapse while the Indian Prime Minister was en route Ferozepur from Bathinda. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was stuck for 15-20 minutes on a flyover during his Punjab visit. The Prime Minister also couldn’t attend the rally in Punjab’s Ferozpur that he was scheduled to address.

I look forward to being among my sisters and brothers of Punjab today. At a programme in Ferozepur, the foundation stone of development works worth Rs. 42,750 crore would be laid, which will improve the quality of life for the people. https://t.co/5Xpqo1OdAo

According to an MHA statement, the Prime Minister landed at Bathinda this morning. He was supposed to proceed to the national martyrs’ memorial at Hussainiwala by helicopter. However, due to rain and poor visibility, the PM waited for around 20 minutes for the weather to clear. But around 30 km from the memorial in Hussainiwala, when Modi’s convoy reached a flyover, it was found that the road was blocked by some protesters.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has sought a detailed report on today’s security breach in Punjab. Such dereliction of security procedure in the Prime Minister’s visit is totally unacceptable and accountability will be fixed.

— Amit Shah (Modi Ka Parivar) (@AmitShah) January 5, 2022

Today’s Congress-made happening in Punjab is a trailer of how this party thinks and functions. Repeated rejections by the people have taken them to the path of insanity. The topmost echelons of the Congress owe an apology to the people of India for what they have done.

Security Lapse or Congress-sponsored Assassination Attempt?

Kanchan Gupta, Senior Adviser at the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India brought some severe lapses, and the culpability of the Congress government of Punjab to light. “Due to bad weather, it was decided that PM @narendramodiwould visit National Marytrs Memorial via road, which would take more than two hours. He proceeded to travel by road after confirmation of necessary security arrangements by DGP Punjab Police,” he said.

Kanchan Gupta revealed, “PM @narendramodi’s travel plan was communicated well in advance to #Punjab Government. As per procedure, they have to make necessary arrangements for logistics, security as well as keep a contingency plan ready.”

But here’s the shocking part. Kanchan Gupta revealed that only Punjab Police knew of the travel routes of the Prime Minister’s convoy. “Only #Punjab Police knew about PM @narendramodi’s travel route. In view of the contingency plan Punjab Government should have deployed additional security to secure any movement by road. Clearly, route plan was leaked. Adequate security was not deployed.”

Due to this security lapse, the worst in recent years, by #Punjab Government and Punjab Police, it was decided that PM @narendramodi would head back to Bathinda Airport.

There are more indications that the events that unfolded on Wednesday were nothing short of a sabotage attempt. Kanchan Gupta revealed, “Normally during a PM visit, the CM, Chief Secretary and DGP receive the PM and accompany him. Today none of the 3 was there. In fact, cars reserved for CS and DGP were part of PM’s cavalcade. Did the top officers of #Punjab have an inkling of what was going to happen?”

Meanwhile, Captain Amarinder Singh, the former Chief Minister of Punjab, gave an angry reaction. Republic quoted him as saying, “10 kilometres from Pakistan border if you cannot secure your Prime Minister then it is a damn shame.”

Read more:‘Thanks ki meinZindalaut paya,’ PM Modi faces major security breach in Punjab, Congress says ‘Hows the josh?’

The Pakistan border being merely 10 kilometres away posed an entirely different threat to the Prime Minister’s life. It would have been possible for Pakistan to fire any projectile into Indian territory and create chaos near PM Modi’s convoy. Also, the fact that while the Prime Minister was stuck at the flyover, Punjab police and government officials remained incommunicado is shocking, to say the least.

This is the worst kind of dereliction of duty in aid of a nefarious plot against the Prime Minister’s life. While the Prime Minister’s team made frantic calls to get hold of somebody from the Punjab government to get the road cleared, all that they got was silence. This is not how a democracy functions, and certainly not how state governments are ought to behave with the country’s Prime Minister. But then, the Congress is desperate and hates Prime Minister Modi to a point that its judgement has been clouded. It will go to any extent to hurt the Indian Prime Minister in order to reap electoral dividends.

Punjab is in a total mess evercince Sidhu came on the scene. From this incident , it is clear that Channi is not CM material. I hope that the people who wanted to harm the PM are exposed and brought to book. You cannot expect Maio or her illustrious son to order an inquiry or to show the door to Sidhu. RaGa will carry on with inane twets and SG will remain silent and aloof.

True ! Our SC which pokes its nose & sets up committees to molly cuddle Jihadi Begums of Shaheen Bagh & Protesting Paaji’s of Singh border, rushes to open the doors past midnight for a terrorist or to bail out some Congi government – will maintain a studied silence at this act of seditious defiance, just like they ignored the Jan 26 attack of Red Fort last year 🙄 The institution called SC has lost its raison de etre 😏

Today, Congress has established their credentials as the party most suited to lead the opposition Thug-Bandhan – Jihadi Momota’s acts of defiance like shooing away CBI teams or walking out of meeting with PM, pale into insignificance compared to this latest accomplishment of Congi’s ! 🙄 Now the question is, will the BJP still keep wailing like kids – or will they finally show some spine ?
The following could be some steps that can puncture the balloon of these Permanently Protesting Paaji’s a.k.a. Khalistani’s :

    1. Dismiss the state government and impose President’s rule. If the SC pokes its dirty nose, respond to them with all the data & legal expertise at your command … show them once & for all that limits cannot be crossed.

    2. Enough of molly-cuddling these Unruly, Seditious Paaji’s masquerading as farmers. All MSP payments to Punjab should be immediately stopped, & the amount diverted to the less fortunate but genuine farmers from other parts of India !

    3. Immediately announce that agricultural income above Rs 10 lakhs per annum will be fully taxable as per normal income tax slabs, & this amount will be transparently utilized to provide agricultural support to small farmers across India.

It won’t take long to tame these Permanently Protesting Paaji’s if the above steps are taken right away ! Modi missed an opportunity to crack the whip after the Jan 26 fiasco last year – he should not take this lying down !

Horrible to even think. People responsible for this should be taken to task. Yes President rule should be imposed. Shame on Congress too for this kind of plan to eliminating PM? You have to win the votes by doing good service to country. Follow Dharma and try to win goodwill of people and its impossible for congress anyway. They are anti-India and Pro-Pakistan.
