The Pegasus scandal is the latest episode in the ongoing Modi vs Soros rivalry

Modi, Soros

The bogus Pegasus spyware scandal that first broke out courtesy Amnesty International and Forbidden Stories has quickly been blown to smithereens in the absence of any concrete and foolproof evidence. The left establishments and media publications nevertheless picked up the fallacious story and tried to spin it into an anti-Modi narrative. Amnesty International is already known for its anti-India credentials, however, a relatively new entity in Forbidden stories has caught the public’s eye. It has now emerged that Forbidden Stories has a George Soros connection and his infamous Open Society Foundations (OSF) is one of the supporters of the said publication.

Reported extensively by TFI, billionaire George Soros in colloquial terms can be dubbed as the Godfather and lynchpin of the global left cabal. Soros has funded the cause of Globalization through his NGO OSF which has an endowment of more than 19 billion dollars. And in the last three decades, he has made every effort to accelerate globalization and weaken the Nationalist values around the world.

Like a petulant, obsessive teenage girlfriend, Soros has been after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. As one of the few nationalist leaders remaining on the global map, Soros has made it his life mission to overthrow the NDA regime. Soros’s involvement in the anti-CAA protests, farmers’ protests, and most pertinently, the protests in the aftermath of abrogation of article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir has made it clear that he will not stop at anything other than toppling the Modi regime.

Last year in January, Soros at the World Economic Forum in Davos had attacked PM Modi for liberating Kashmir. Miffed that the region was free of separatists and Islamists that could be indirectly funded through his blood money, Soros in his speech had remarked, “Nationalism, far from being reversed, made further headway.”

According to Soros, the biggest and “most frightening setback (on Nationalism),” he said came in India “where a democratically elected Narendra Modi is creating a Hindu nationalist state, imposing punitive measures on Kashmir, a semi-autonomous Muslim region, and threatening to deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship.” During the same speech, Soros pledged USD 1 billion to fund a new university network to tackle the spread of nationalism.

As reported by TFI, during Super Bowl LV, a group of Indian-American Sikhs had created an anti-Modi ad to be played right before the championship game of the NFL on CBS in Fresno County. ‘Sikh Institute Fresno’ (SIF) had purportedly funded the ad to show the plight of Khalistan supporters masquerading as farmers on the borders of Delhi.

However, a careful look at the SIF website and it can be ascertained that it was Soros behind the campaign. The SIF website clearly mentions that Soros’s OSF is one of the main donors.

Amardeep Singh, the Co-Founder of the US-based NGO – Sikh Coalition that has been raising the farmer’s issue aggressively in the States to create an anti-Modi narrative is also funded by Soros. Since 2014, Amardeep Singh has been working with OSF as its Senior Program Officer.

Similarly, Harsh Mander, Congress and Sonia Gandhi’s trusted sepoy that ran a parallel cabinet during the UPA era is the Chairman of OSF’s Human Rights Initiative Advisory Board. Interestingly, during the Shaheen Bagh protests, Mander’s NGO Karwana e Mohabbat was at the forefront organising several meetings and events. Mander, himself was embroiled in a court case for trying to instigate the rioters to attack the police machinery.

Likewise, Twitter, which has been strengthening the cause of the leftist lobby in the country, going against the diktat of the government and Supreme Court has Soros’s hand behind it. Twitter’s top four owners are: Morgan Stanley Investment Management, The Vanguard Group Inc, Blackrock Fund Advisors, and SSgA Funds Management. The Vanguard Group Inc and Blackrock Advisors partly own Twitter and they both are also partly owned by Soros Management Fund owned by George Soros.

George Soros’ hate for nationalism and as a necessary corollary, hate for PM Modi is thus well documented. There are myriad NGO chains infamous for their anti-India endeavours that can be directly tied down to Soros. Pegasus spyware is just one of the many scandals churned up by Soros and in all certainty, it will not be his last hurrah.
