George Soros is unhappy with PM Modi. PM Modi must be doing everything right

George Soros is an enigma and a very shady operator

George Soros, the billionaire philanthropist and the protector of Liberal democracy, has attacked PM Modi and his Kashmir agenda in a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Soros, who stands for globalism and hates every shade of Nationalism, also said, “Nationalism, far from being reversed, made further headway.”

Soros has funded the causes of Globalization through the agency Open Society Foundations (OSF), which has an endowment of more than 19 billion dollars. And in the last three decades, he has made every effort to accelerate globalization and weaken the Nationalist values around the world. According to Soros, the biggest and “most frightening setback (on Nationalism),” he said came in India “where a democratically elected Narendra Modi is creating a Hindu nationalist state, imposing punitive measures on Kashmir, a semi-autonomous Muslim region, and threatening to deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship.”

Soros also pledged 1 billion dollars to fight “the erosion of civil society in a world increasingly ruled by would-be and actual dictators and beset by climate change.”

There are many conspiracy theories popular about Soros, from funding the deep state to having links with terrorist organizations and ruling the world; some of these theories are backed by proper evidences, and some are mere imagination.

George is said to be the person who runs and rules the world; at least the Western liberal democracies. He funds the Centre-left parties in almost all European liberal democracies and has funded the campaigns of Democratic Party candidates- Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton– in the US Presidential elections.

Soros was born to an upper-middle-class non-observant Jewish family in the Kingdom of Hungary. Despite coming from a Jewish family Soros has regularly attacked Israel and the American Jewish lobby. He has also generously funded the Palestinian government.

Soros’s political activism, as well as his business career, has been mired with controversies. In 1988, Soros benefitted from being convicted in an insider trading case and used his political influence as immunity from conviction. When the case was opened under pressure from the opposition parties, he was convicted in 2002. Since then, he has used the political and business influence to get lenient treatment from the law enforcement agencies of France.

Soros has also repeatedly accused of using the legal loopholes to evade the taxes. He regularly preaches that the rich people should pay more taxes for the welfare of the larger community and social services by the government, but, does not practice the same.

Soros has been accused of funding the groups that try to meddle in US Presidential Elections. Federal Electoral Commission (FEC) – the body which conducts election in the United States- has cracked down on the agencies that were trying to meddle in elections, and it was found that majority of these bodies were being funded through Open Society Foundations.

Soros is the person responsible for the Asian financial crisis of the late 1990s, which affected Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Brazil, and Russia, and of course, Thailand- the epicentre of the crisis. He has been accused of ‘Trying to destroy the economy of Hong Kong’.

It must also be mentioned that Soros has been banned (kicked out) from Philippines, Hungary, Russia, Turkey, Poland and Pakistan.

George is known as an ace currency manipulator, and he fuelled the Malaysian economic crisis too.

Finally, the financial event for which Soros is well known and through which he benefitted most was Britain’s currency crash. Pound Sterling- the currency of Britain went into free fall due to manipulation by Soros and around 3.3 billion pound was wiped out of British government’s coffers, and Soros earned more than 1 billion pound in this.

Soros also benefitted from the 2008 financial crisis and he infamously termed it ‘a good crisis’. Conservapedia, the Conservative wiki primarily managed by American conservatives has described Soros as “an anti-Semitic atheist, international financier and con artist who bankrolled the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, among other left-wing causes.”

The Soros comments on Modi government and his Kashmir agenda is obviously due to the fact that the policies of the government do not fit into the ‘liberal democratic’ framework of George Soros. The government should be vigilant about what Soros’s donations to Indian NGO’s, as well try to further his agenda by using his wealth.
