Ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls, Congress, looking for survival in the state has thrown its last roll of the dice by naming a known Hindu hate monger Imran Pratapgarhi as chairman of the party’s minority department. The appointment for the Urdu poet-turned-politician came straight from the offices of Congress President Sonia Gandhi and explains the party’s desperation to tap in on the Minority votes.
Dubbed as Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s chosen one, Pratapgarhi’s anointment has certainly not gone down well within the party as members feel that Congress is relying on the old stereotype of catapulting a poet and a shayar to the top party position to lure the Muslim vote bank.
However, Imran’s illustrious history has started catching up with him, immediately after his promotion and rather than seeing him as the face of the minority department, the netizens are claiming him to be a radical Islamist whose sole aim is to see the decimation of Hindus.
Shehzad Poonawaala recently took to Twitter to share a well-compiled list of Imran’s eloquent poetry regurgitating venom against the country, PM Narendra Modi and last but not least, the Hindus.
In one of the old videos, Imran could be heard exhorting his Muslim counterparts to go on a rampage and kill the kafirs to avenge the lynching, “It is not acceptable to die in a cowardly manner. To avenge lynching, kill at least 4 to 6 people before you die.”

During last year’s anti-CAA protests, Imran took the centre stage at Shaheen Bagh and brainwashed little kids and women into chanting slogans of death for PM Modi by comparing him to Adolf Hitler.
“Jo Hitler ki chaal chalega, woh Hitler ki maut marega,” shouted Imran as the little kids and the women in the audience followed his vitriol statements with equal passion.

While Imran might have been alleviated to the top party position recently, he has always had the desired qualifications. Just like party scion Rahul Gandhi and several other Congress leaders that have accused BJP of planning the Pulwama attacks, Imran in one of his public gatherings had openly called BJP as the killer.
“Kaatil ghar ke aangan tak aa pahuncha hai. Rakhwale ki saazish bhi ho sakti hai” said Imran.

Claiming to be a secular party, Congress’s choice of leader certainly raises eyebrows and even if it manages to run a highly polarised campaign, Yogi’s popularity dwarfs the likes of Imran, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi combined.
As reported by TFI, according to an ABP-C Voter survey conducted in March earlier this year, if elections were to held now, BJP would storm into power once again. The BJP is projected to win 289 seats in the 403-seat Uttar Pradesh Assembly in March 2021. SP is projected to be the second-largest party with 59 seats followed by BSP with 38 seats but not posing any real challenge to the BJP.
Meanwhile, Congress’ fortunes particularly are set to witness further shrinkage, despite Priyanka Vadra’s desperate campaigning in the state as the survey gives it 9 seats only.
Lately, Congress has emerged as a safe haven for known radical Islamists. From tying up with AIUDF’s Badaruddin Ajmal to promoting Imran Masood as the secretary of AICC (known infamously for wanting to chop Prime Minister Narendra Modi into pieces) to now alleviating Imran Pratapgarhi as the head of the minority department, there is a clear pattern which shows Congress and its inherent hatred for Hindus.
