It was a day of mixed feelings for liberals and Modi-haters on Monday, as the Prime Minister took to getting inoculated with the indigenous Covaxin, developed by Bharat Biotech and the ICMR. As PM Modi took his first shot of the Covid-19 vaccine in the wee hours of Monday, and as the news of him being vaccinated started pouring in, liberals, Islamists and Congress supporters, in general, did not know how to react. However, their insane tweets soon started coming in, and needless to say, reading them would most definitely cause mental decay among people of a magnitude not known to man before.
PM Modi’s vaccination was replete with symbols from states all across the country, and more specifically, those going to polls very soon. While the Prime Minister took to single-handedly allaying vaccine hesitancy among Indians by taking the 100 per cent ‘Made in India’ vaccine, he also wore a Gamosa from Assam, while nurses from Kerala and Puducherry – Rosamma Anil and P Niveda – administered the dose to him. The Gamosa, according to officials, ‘is symbolic of the blessings of women from Assam.’
But the symbolism of PM Modi’s attire was among the least of the liberals’ concerns. What they were more worried about and perhaps envious of too, was PM Modi’s shiny head, his Rabindranath Tagore-like appearance and perhaps also how the Prime Minister was smiling in the photographs during his vaccination. Many also felt outraged that he was not wearing a mask, although everyone around them had their faces covered.

And how did PM Modi get access to the vaccine so early? Has he jumped the queue due to his position? Why could he not wait like a common citizen for his turn? These were some of the other ridiculous questions asked by Modi-baiters on various social media after the Prime Minister’s vaccination. Ironically, the same people were crying foul until yesterday and pointing fingers towards PM Modi for not taking the vaccine himself and making common Indians ‘victims’ of ‘unsafe and unreliable’ vaccines.

Essentially, such people despise Narendra Modi for who he is. They cannot stand the sight of him, and hate the fact that India overwhelmingly voted him to power. Ever since the pandemic began, PM Modi has been at the forefront of leading an octahedral awareness campaign, first about the disease itself, then about how one can prevent the contraction of the virus, and now, addressing vaccine-related fears.
Leftists, liberals and their associates have been reduced to a joke in India by one man alone, which is why they take to mindlessly attacking him in an illogically ridiculous manner at the drop of a hat. It seems that liberals – who have been at the forefront of running a misinformation campaign against the safety and efficacy of Indian vaccines and scaremongering people to refrain from being inoculated cannot seem to digest the fact that the country is progressing at a tremendous pace with its COVID-19 vaccination drive. The hurt is evident.
They hate that their wishful thinking of Crores of people’s deaths in India due to this pandemic which if materialized would have included so many of themselves. Their hatred for Narendra Modi is so overwhelming that they have started to hate everything Indian.
