When one is a crorepati farmer, one doesn’t worry about the upcoming harvest season and the subsequent quantity of produce. Crorepati farmer Rakesh Tikait has now appealed to the farmers to sacrifice their standing crops and burn them if needed, to ensure that the farmers’ protests don’t get fizzled out as farmers return to their villages to harvest their crops. Such a move would be severely detrimental to the poor farmers who are following their crorepati leader, Rakesh Tikait.
With the dawn of every new day, Rakesh Tikait continues to expose himself and how he never really cared about the welfare of the farmers.
“Even if you have to set your standing crop on fire, you should be prepared for it. The government should not harbour this impression that farmers will return home. We will harvest crops and continue our agitation at the same time,” said Tikait while addressing a Mahapanchayat in Haryana’s Hisar.
He added, “There will be no ‘ghar wapsi’ till then.”
Tikait who had earlier supported the farm laws when they were passed in the parliament, then revealed his plans for yet another siege of Delhi on the lines of Republic Day. “Keep your tractors filled with fuel and facing towards Delhi’s direction. You can get a call to move at any time, that will be decided by the committee (farmers unions),” said Tikait.
Adressing the gathering, Tikait’s colleague and Haryana BKU chief Gurnam Singh Chaduni resorted to spreading white lies in order to keep the protests afloat. “If new agricultural laws are implemented, crops will be purchased at arbitrary prices and farmers will be forced to even sell their land,” alleged Chaduni.
There is absolutely no provision in the three new farm laws which would force farmers to sell their land. The Prime Minister of the country himself, on the floor of the house, has stated that MSP will not be done away with.
Spreading white lies to keep the protests afloat is one thing, but asking the poor farmers to sacrifice their year’s hard work for his own personal and political goals just shows how morally corrupt is Rakesh Tikait.
As Tikait now instigates others to burn their crops, it won’t be surprising if the poor farmers follow their leader in letter and spirit, however, Tikait won’t be affected personally with the burning of crops since he’s a crorepati.

According to the news reports, Rakesh Tikait’s assets are worth as much as Rs 80 crores. Tikait’s assets are spread across four states in the country viz. Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Maharashtra. Furthermore, these assets traverse 13 cities of the country, including Muzaffarnagar, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bijnor, Badaun, Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Dehradun, Roorkee, Haridwar, and Mumbai.
Such is the money-might of Tikait that he owns a range of businesses like petrol pumps, brick kilns, showrooms, etc. The BKU leader has two daughters — Seema and Jyoti. The latter lives in Australia and had reportedly organised a rally in support of the protesting farmers in Melbourne on February 8.
The farmers must wake up and smell the coffee as Rakesh Tikait will drive them towards bankruptcy and poverty, while he enjoys his umpteen riches.
Why doesn’t the Govt. at least NOW arrest this Bustard ? And level cases under UAPA and non bailable ? He has become a menace to the country now.
