Pakistan created a solid case against India’s ‘nefarious’ activities in the UN and EU. UN and EU turned it into gas

The bankrupt, debt-ridden and abusive human rights violator – Pakistan is feeling jubilant for the past one day, at the behest of a report probably sponsored by it, which claims to have ‘busted’ the largest disinformation campaign in the world, spearheaded by India. EU DisinfoLab, a European NGO on Wednesday claimed to have ‘busted’ a massive anti-Pakistan and subversive disinformation campaign originating from India. Almost instantly, Islamabad broke into a celebration, frothing at the shoddy report published by the European NGO and parading it around the globe as a ticket of vindication for its terrorism against India.

The EU DisinfoLab claimed to have busted a disinformation campaign that targeted the European Union and UN with over 750 fake local media outlets and more than 10 sham non-governmental organizations.“To do so, they (Srivastava Group) resurrected dead NGOs at the UN. They impersonated the EU. They laundered content produced by fake media to real media — and reached millions in South-Asia and across the world,” the watchdog said. As it turns out, the report has not directly implicated the Indian state or government but has instead named one Srivastava Group based out of Delhi as the mastermind of the alleged global operations.

Nevertheless, the report, which closes to no government around the world has bothered to entertain, was picked up by the bankrupt terror state to India’s west – Pakistan, and amplified by Islamabad through whatever means they could afford. Pakistani President Arif Alvi said, “Dead Professor & the vast pro-India, anti-Pakistan, fake news & disinformation set up. Exists since 2005. Despite exposure last year, it has grown vast with 750 fake media outlets. All done through front companies. Real news is bad, so India banks on fake news.”

Imran Khan, who likes to be called the Prime Minister of the terror-sponsoring Islamic Republic and who has been installed on the position by the country’s land-hungry army, said, “Pakistan has consistently drawn attention of international community to India’s subversive activities to undermine democracies in the region; and export/fund extremism through structures of fake news orgs and ‘think tanks.” He also added that the ‘massive’ expose on India’s global propaganda network had “vindicated Pakistan’s position.”

The revelations by @DisinfoEU on the widespread Indian network of subversive activities vindicates Pakistan's position & exposes its detractors. The international community needs to take notice of a rogue Indian regime that now threatens the stability of the global system.

— Imran Khan (@ImranKhanPTI) December 10, 2020

Another clown from Pakistan – Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, who remains ever-enthusiastic on getting thrashed by any country, said there was “no surprise” in the expose as “India sits atop the world’s largest disinformation network.” That Pakistan sits atop the world’s largest terror funding and training industry was conveniently given a miss by all of Pakistan Army’s puppets.

Meanwhile, India’s Foreign Ministry reacted sharply to the report and the naked dance of jubilation being done by Pakistan around it. Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that as a responsible democracy, India does not practice disinformation campaigns, adding, “In fact, if you are looking at disinformation, the best example is the country next door which is circulating fictional and fabricated dossiers and purveys a regular stream of fake news.”

The report released by EU DisinfoLab on Wednesday claimed that the disinformation network run by the Srivastava Group, named ‘India Chronicles’ was designed primarily to “discredit Pakistan internationally” and influence decision-making at the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) and the European Parliament. A European NGO claiming to have exposed an Indian entity for running global anti-Pakistan operations has on expected lines got Islamabad cheered up, as they finally get something to take on India at the global stage with.

However, the report and its ‘explosive findings’ are hardly finding an audience within India, leave alone internationally. While Pakistan would have wanted countries around the world to take cognizance of the report and its findings, nobody seems to have even batted an eye. With Pakistan running around the globe, already caught with its pants down multiple times harbouring global terrorists, the world community seems to have realised that anything causing such excitement in Pakistan has to be fake.
