As the investigation into the tragic demise of Sushant Singh Rajput gathers pace, Rhea Chakraborty is finding herself in a tight spot as further incriminating evidence is emerging pointing at her role in hatching a sinister conspiracy. To back out of the corner, Rhea Chakraborty has undertaken an ambitious PR exercise which is going to backfire gloriously as Indians are in no mood to buy Sushant’s depression theory.
Make no mistake, a textbook case of PR strategy is being allegedly adopted by Rhea Chakraborty and the powers who back her. As Rajdeep Sardesai controversially interviewed Rhea Chakraborty, Rhea used the interview to play the victim card where she reiterated that Sushant was suffering from depression and was bipolar. She also claimed that Sushant was taking medications and he had no prescription. The interview majorly revolved around how Rhea loved Sushant and she is nothing but a victim of a media trial. Rhea claimed that she and her family has thought of ending their lives in the backdrop of Sushant’s demise.
Rhea has now also revealed of her desire to have “Chota Sushant” and has claimed threats to her and her family’s lives as she has knocked the doors of Mumbai Police to seek protection but has received no assurances so far.
The efforts to project Rhea as the holier than thou will gloriously backfire as no one is ready to buy Rhea’s crocodile tears despite the best efforts of the Lutyens Media and the left-liberal ecosystem. Rhea wants us to believe that the same Mumbai Police who allegedly botched up the probe and protected Rhea and the powerful are not helping her.
Rhea hasn’t given interview to only Rajdeep Sardesai as her PR agency had also lined up NDTV and CNN News 18 for friendly interviews where Rhea can be seen shedding tears aplomb with the sole aim of projecting Rhea as the victim of a media trial.
No matter how much PR a person does, it doesn’t take long to showcase their true colours. Rhea targeted Sushant’s family as she claimed that his family should respect her because she took care of Sushant.
CBI has summoned Rhea today which doesn’t bode well for the actress as the CBI officers are no Rajdeep or NDTV who will follow the script given to them. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has alleged that Rhea used funds from Rajput’s accounts. Times Now reports that Rhea had even obtained the Personal Identification Number (PIN) for the debit card of the late actor.
The NCB further disclosed that Samuel Miranda and Rhea Chakraborty were ‘working in close coordination’ and were using ‘fund of SSR for their own purpose’. The investigative agency also revealed a drug angle stated that, “The WhatsApp conversation has further revealed that RC (Rhea Chakraborty) was indulging in usage and procurement of narcotics substance namely weed (Marijuana/ Cannabis/ CBD, etc) illegally since 2017.”
The NCB has already filed an FIR against Rhea in connection with the alleged drug use with the agency also dispatching a team of NCB officials to probe the matter further.
The fact that Rhea chose to do multiple interviews with ‘friendly’ journalists at a time when the investigation has fallen into the hands of the CBI, with ED and NCB registering cases against her, with the investigative agencies unearthing incriminating evidence against her, tells us there’s something suspicious and something more than meets the eye in the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput.
