‘Why is PM Modi going during pandemic?’ Liberal cabal has severe heartburn as PM Modi is set to visit Ayodhya

They are now sticking to this narrative to put PM Modi down

As soon as the dates for Ram Mandir bhoomi pujan were out in the public, the liberal intellengtsia of the country quickly came out of its burrows crawling and expectedly took the road which is pretty much associated with them. The ceremony stated to start from August 3 will commence on August 5, and is expected to be graced by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath among several other invitees. However, one name that has given a severe heartburn to the liberal cabal is the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is set to visit to the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony. Although Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has not yet confirmed his visit but going by the looks of several media reports, PM Modi will indeed visit Ayodhya for the holy ceremony.

The moment the news of his visit burst out in the media circles, the usual detractors and secularists of the Indian political landscape came out in their full glory. Leading the charge was the deceitful master of U-turns in Indian politics, NCP supremo, Sharad Pawar. The leader of Maharashtra who is currently in an alliance with Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra came up with a mind-wrecking analogy.

Reacting on NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s comments on Sunday that some people think building a temple will help to eradicate the COVID-19 pandemic, BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Dr Subramanian Swamy slammed the leader by terming his comments as “ridiculous” and demanded an apology from the veteran politician.

“It’s ridiculous. Another channel’s anchor had said that building a hospital is better than building a Ram Mandir and yes, I told him, we need more mental hospitals for people who speak like that. In the same way, you cannot compare two alternatives which are not equal in its application.” Said Dr. Swamy.

Iterating that both events are mutually exclusive and can be performed separately, Dr. Swamy mentioned:

“In the old age when we used to build steel plants, people used to say building them is not as good as feeding the people of India. There are so many people below the poverty lines. These are ridiculous alternatives, we can have both.” added Dr. Swamy speaking to Republic TV.

Pawar’s statement has put Shiv Sena at loggerheads and it needs to be seen if Shiv Sena which has long ago compromised its ideology by going with NCP and Congress endorses Pawar’s statement or not.

Digvijaya Singh, another fallen Congress heavyweight whose political career is on a gradual wane off late, came out with another political hara-kiri statement which surely isn’t going to land him any new followers.

Everyone wants that grand Ram Temple is built. But they (the Centre) didn't give place to Shankaracharyas in the Nyas, instead VHP & BJP leaders have been made its members. We object to this: Congress leader Digvijaya Singh pic.twitter.com/2RoLfSOINE

Ashok Swain, came up with a similar statement which shows nothing but his conclusive hatred for a certain section of society. One can only imagine if Mr. Swain had the bravado for calling out the other section for making a school if a mosque was being built.

The foundation laying ceremony will mark the beginning of the construction of the grand temple that is expected to take about 3 years to complete.

Kameshwar Chaupal who serves as a trustee of the Ram Temple Trust informed that they are expecting the Prime Minister’s arrival in the temple town on August 5. He added that all government standard operating procedures (SOPs) with respect to safety against coronavirus will be ensured during the Bhumi Pujan.

Despite the temple authorities assuring that all the mandated SOPs will be followed the cabal is hell-bent on bringing analogies like: “Why is PM going to such an event during a pandemic?’

COVID-19 and Bhoomi Pujan are two mutually exclusive events but the liberal cabal drinks the potion of secularism when an event involving Hindus and their beliefs is the subject.

As has been rightly pointed out, “Secularism is nothing but institutionalised minority communalism” and during such episodes as such that you can gauge the correctness of this statement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attending the bhoomi pujan will make for a powerful image and remind you photographs as such do get stuck in public’s memory. Whether it be the image of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the Pokhran Nuclear testing site or LK Advani’s rath yatra photos, such imagery often set the narratives and therefore the liberal cabal is adamant on not seeing PM Modi at the ceremony.

Leftist portal The Wire also came out with an article titled, ‘The Political Undertones of Choosing August 5 for Ayodhya Ram Temple ‘Bhoomi Pujan’.

“The date marks the first anniversary of the revocation of Jammu and Kashmir’s special constitutional status with the reading down of Article 370 of the constitution, a long-standing demand of the Sangh parivar and one that predates even its Ram temple movement by decades.

By linking these two events in this fashion, it is clear that a political message is being sent,” wrote Sharat Pradhan in his article.

It is also being reported that Lal Krishna Advani, the BJP veteran leader who became the political face of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, giving it heft and wide publicity is also expected to touch down in Ayodhya with PM Modi. Another heartburn moment for the left ecosystem.
