‘Agar Mandir bana toh mai Hinduon ko chun chun ke marunga,’ Pakistani kid warns in TikTok video, but the rot is much deeper

A kid or a budding xenophobe?

At the center of a communal storm in Pakistan is a proposed Shri Krishna temple in the hateful country’s capital, Islamabad. The site was all set to be used for the construction of the first Mandir in the capital city, if only the bigots of Pakistan would not let their religious supremacy and foolishness come in the way. Being the banana republic that it is, however, power rests in the hands of Islamic clerics and army generals. As such, the temple construction has now been kept in abeyance. All was going well until the outrage was limited to Pakistan’s joke of a social media. Soon, however, bigotry spilled onto the site of the construction, as a Muslim man named Malik Shani Awan invoked the name of Allah while demolishing the boundary wall of the temple.

As per plans, the Shri Krishna temple was supposed to come up in a 20,000 sq ft plot in the capital’s H-9 administrative division, and its fate now lies in the hands of the country’s judiciary. A Pakistani court on Monday reserved the judgment on the admissibility of petitions against the construction of a Hindu temple in national capital Islamabad, reported The New Indian Express.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, a man can be seen in a video reciting Namaaz while standing on top of bricks which were to be used for the construction of the temple boundary wall. Further, he is also calling upon fellow Muslims to do the same, in a blatant attempt to desecrate the site allotted by the Pakistan government no less, for the temple construction. The temple was sanctioned by Imran Khan’s government with a grant of Rs 10 crore Pakistani rupees.

Clerics, religious fanatics and the common populace have lost their minds ever since, for how dare a Hindu enjoy equal rights of worship in a country which draws inspiration from Sharia?

While the desecration of the temple site and the theatrics of reciting namaaz can be considered a part and parcel of a Pakistani’s life, a video now going viral shows a child, barely being able to speak, threatening to kill all Hindus in Pakistan if the temple construction were to go ahead.

The father is seen in the beginning of the video, stating that his son has a message for all. His son, in an artificial aggressive tone, says, “Khan sahib (Imran Khan), agar Islamabad mein mandir bana to yeh yaad rakhna, main un Hinduon ko chun chun ke marunga. Samajh gaye? Allah Hafiz. (Mr Imran Khan, if a temple is constructed in Islamabad, then remember, I will kill all Hindus one by one. Understand? Allah Hafiz.)” The younger brother of the potential Hindu-slayer is seen agreeing with him.

While the video is obviously shaking the conscience of many, and making them wonder how such a small kid can possibly harbour such hateful resentment against Hindus, it should not come as a surprise from a country like Pakistan, whose entire existence is premised on the foundation of a Muslim being unable to co-exist with a Hindu, or people from other religious communities. Hindu hatred is the oxygen of Pakistani society. Dreams of Ghazwa-e-Hind is what drives Pakistan. There is a genuine belief to this very day among Pakistani Muslims, that one day they shall restore a Mughal empire like rule over India, and thereby deal with lesser mortals and kaafirs of this land in a manner they deem fit.

Last year, in a hilarious video exposing the ingrained bigotry of Pakistani kids, Pakistan’s largest Islamist political party, Jamaat-e-Islami showed one of the kids making a derogatory remark about Indian Army soldiers, while another one spoke of how she will spend her vacations in 2020 at Shimla after Pakistan occupies India. With bigotry hitting the ceiling, one of the Pakistani kids talks about eating beef in Delhi which shows the kind of anti-Hindu sentiment the kid has been indoctrinated with.

This is yet another brainwashed generation of Pakistani children dreaming of conquering India. Old chooran, same old delusions. pic.twitter.com/ACV2mZzfHP

— Naila Inayat (@nailainayat) October 13, 2019

As a matter of fact, an inherent sense of hatred for kaafirs comes naturally to Pakistani Muslims. To add to it, the country’s education system only reinforces such predispositions. The Pakistani education courses are designed in such a way as to instil hatred in the hearts of students against minorities such as Hindus and Christians.

Social studies textbooks are rife with negative comments regarding India and the West, with Hindus receiving a major part chunk of hate. Hindus and India are portrayed as enemies of Pakistan who are a violent, cruel civilization whereas Islamic society is celebrated as peaceful and just. Pakistanis are indoctrinated with hatred for Hindus and India since birth. They grow in an atmosphere of animosity for kaafirs and ultimately end up living lives of bigots and religious fanatics, fantasizing over the prospect of taking control of India.

Hindus, Sikhs and Christians are portrayed as “inferior, unpatriotic outsiders”. As a matter of fact, Pakistani Hindus, who unfortunately stayed back during the partition and subsequent years which followed, are portrayed as ‘Indians’, and as a direct consequence, as ‘enemies’ of Pakistan.

The Islamization of Pakistan, in its true sense, began with the Zia Ul Haq regime, which was one of the most active in pushing Pakistan towards intense radicalism, by following the object of creating a Nizam-e-Mustafa, that is, “Rule of Prophet”. He even institutionalised the inclusion of Islamists in the judicial set up of Pakistan. Draconian laws based on promoting Islamisation of Pakistan such as the blasphemy law and several other misogynistic laws were enacted. His legacy remains unchallenged by even the so-called civilian governments that succeeded him and therefore Pakistan, which had started as an Islamic Republic has now radicalised further into a Sharia law State.

Yet, the tragedy is that back in India, a section of people, in their hatred towards Narendra Modi and his government are turning a complete blind eye to the atrocities committed in Pakistan against religious minorities. When India sought to make life easier for refugees who had fled religious persecution from the three neighbouring Islamic countries, mindless goons took to the streets to protest the alleged ‘disenfranchisement’ of Indian Muslims that would be undertaken by the Indian government using CAA. Today, the joke is on them.
