Khalid Saifi, the man who played a pivotal role in engineering the fabricated anti-CAA protests since December last year, particularly at Shaheen Bagh, and subsequent violence in Chand Bagh, was taken into custody by Delhi Police on February 26. The closet Jihadi has now been arrested by Delhi Police’s crime branch for his involvement in the Northeast Delhi riots in February this year. The crime branch is specifically investigating the Northeast Delhi riots.

Khalid Saifi is named as an accused in the third charge-sheet filed by Delhi Police in connection with the riots, and he has explicitly been mentioned as one of the facilitators of the violence. Further, the charge-sheet mentions that the man was heading the ‘Shaheen Bagh Control Room’, from where he overlooked and organized the riots.

Khalid Saifi’s arrest first made news since the man is a known aide of secessionist Umar Khalid. Saifi organized a meeting between Umar Khalid, and IB officer Ankit Sharma’s murder accused AAP councillor – Tahir Hussain. Tahir Hussain was arrested in March this year for his direct involvement in organising the February riots in Delhi.

Soon, however, Khalid Saifi was revealed as a social animal, with his pictures alongside Lutyens cabal members beginning to do the rounds on social media. He was also seen sharing a frame with Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.

Apparently, Khalid Saifi shares a rather overly cordial relation with some prominent journalists, the likes of which include Rajdeep Sardesai, Ravish Kumar, Arfa Khanum Sherwani and Abhisar Sharma. Further, he also has pictures with Sanjukta Basu and Rana Ayyub, the part-time Marxist singer and dancer, and the closet Islamist respectively.

To put it simply, Khalid Saifi has many friends with connections to a multiplicity of political parties and entities, except the BJP. These friends have time and again proven their loyalty to Saifi and his cause, especially during the Northeast Delhi riots, where his ‘gang’ worked overtime to cover-up the crimes of Islamists, and worked towards pinning all blame on Hindus. The question to be asked really is, when is the Police planning to turn its eyes towards the noble friends of Khalid Saifi?

Let us begin with Ravish Kumar. Being an eternal pessimist and overly melancholic journalist did not serve as an impediment to him attempting to pin all blame on Hindus in February. A melodramatic Kumar even went to the extent of suggesting that the February 24 shooter who fired at police personnel was not Mohammad Shahrukh, but a Hindu named Anurag Mishra. His sources were based out of anti-Hindu chatter on social media. This brazen coverage by Ravish Kumar even led to one unrelated Anurag Mishra receiving death threats online.

तुम चाहे कुछ भी करलो हम हर बार आवाज़ उठाएंगे।#DoJusticeWithTabrez pic.twitter.com/09S4ipKZs6

— Khalid Saifi (@KSaifi) September 12, 2019

Siddharth Vardarajan, the man facing police action for attributing fake quotes to Yogi Adityanath is also seen sharing the frame with prime Jihad conspirator Khalid Saifi. Notorious portal, The Wire’s coverage of the Delhi riots needs no introduction. The publication has made it a life mission to somehow implicate Kapil Mishra, while also trying to senselessly and fruitlessly exonerate the likes of Safoora Zargar and Sharjeel Imam.

It’s great meeting @svaradarajan founder of @thewire_in what a brave man. pic.twitter.com/BaHd5ZSmru

— Khalid Saifi (@KSaifi) February 28, 2019

Rajdeep Sardesai, who set out on a mission to somehow get hold of a few people who were willing to echo his pre-held suppositions of Hindu criminality in the Delhi riots was made to face a rather brutal shock when people on the ground testified to the fact that the rioters were chanting “Allah Hu Akbar” and “Nara-e-Takbir” slogans. They also said that Kapil Mishra had in no way instigated a flare-up, further proving that the riots were a pre-planned conspiracy aimed at diminishing India’s image during President Donald Trump’s visit. As a matter of fact, the meeting between Umar Khalid and Tahir Hussain, facilitated by Saifi, is said to have been the breeding ground of the violent protests and riots during Trump’s state visit to India.

It was a great pleasure meeting and exchanging thoughts with @abhisar_sharma @khanumarfa @mehartweets @sanjukta @sardesairajdeep pic.twitter.com/C3BsvsuVg7

— Khalid Saifi (@KSaifi) January 19, 2019

In the same tweet, other closet Islamo-leftists, such as Arfa Khanum are also seen, apart from Abhisar Sharma, Sanjukta Basu, and Gurmehar Kaur.

Arfa Khanum Sherwani, senior editor at The Wire has historically never shied away from being an overt Hinduphobe. The alleged journalist had gone to the extent of saying that the Shaheen Bagh protests were undemocratically halted by the Delhi Police, who used the CoVID-19 pandemic as an excuse to do the same. Further, she was of the opinion that the protests should have been allowed unhindered since all hygiene practices were being taken care of.

Rana Ayyub’s jihadi mind-set is not subject to any introduction. On March 5, Ayyub had shared a BBC article which went on to explain how “Muslim houses were targeted and burnt” during the riots. Rana Ayyub, meanwhile, writes for The Washington Post, which has today been exposed for having received close to USD 4.6 million from the CCP, via China Daily. Now, here’s a picture of her with Khalid Saifi and Umar Khalid.

Met @RanaAyyub and her lovely family at her home in Mumbai. Very humble and loveable people. Had delicious dinner with them. @UmarKhalidJNU pic.twitter.com/NPvpkEsxkV

— Khalid Saifi (@KSaifi) January 21, 2019

Sayema Rahman, a well-known radio jockey associated with Radio Mirchi had called upon a mob to descend upon the ITO police station in Delhi on December 15 last year. The same site then witnessed large scale protests, violent in nature, after Sayema and her ilk took it upon themselves to protest against alleged police highhandedness at Jamia Milia Islamia. Khalid Saifi, meanwhile, has called Sayema a “charming and bubbly” girl.

Today met Purani Jeans wali Sayema at Khureji Protest site. Very charming n Bubbly girl. Ladki keep shining n inspiring. May Allah bless you with the very best. Ameen #TwitterPals #NoToCAA_NPR_NRC @MirchiSayema pic.twitter.com/kG4XasqVQV

— Khalid Saifi (@KSaifi) February 15, 2020

What is abundantly clear is that there is a great sense of camaraderie among these friends, examples of which are amply available both on the internet, and some of which have been cited above. The consistent efforts put in by Saifi’s gang to whitewash the crimes of Islamists in the Delhi riots and the CAA fiasco, and to pin all blame on Hindus, has not been given a miss by anyone. There seems to be uniformity of thought among these close friends, many of whom are said to have directly conspired to effectuate violence and anarchy on the streets of Delhi.
