When Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan laid out his dream for ‘Naya Pakistan’, little did we know that in Khan’s ‘Naya Pakistan’, the country’s minorities will be treated as guinea pigs as the atrocities against minorities are increasingly rapidly and more brutally. In Imran Khan’s Pakistan the lust for minor girls is increasing as in yet another spine chilling incident, a handicapped minor Christian girl, Komal Patras was abducted and sexually assaulted in Lahore as the crimes against minorities continue unabated in the country.
A hearing and speech impaired minor Christian girl is facing unspeakable atrocities with the family of the girl even being sent her naked pictures which has completely broken her family. It is also alleged that the perpetrators of the ghastly crime are known by the police but they aren’t acting on it since the victim is non-Muslim in Pakistan.
It is a regular occurrence in Imran Khan’s Naya Pakistan as the police are equally involved in aiding and abetting the abduction and forced conversion of minor non-Muslim girls. The victim’s mother has stated that she has filed an FIR against Alim, Bashar and Asim, however, they police are yet to take any action against them.

Komal’s mother and sister has also said that Komal did manage to call them where “she kept screaming”. While the Christian girl is speech impaired and couldn’t communicate properly, she attempted to tell her ordeal.
Expectedly, this horrific incident was met with widespread outrage, which forced Pakistan Human Rights minister, Shireen Mazari to take note as she has assured the culprits will be caught. However, it is a given that the issue will beallowed to die down and no punitive actions will be taken against the culprits as the government and the police are in bed with the culprits.

Recently, a 14 year old Christian girl, Myra Shehbaz was abducted by armed men in Faisalabad after which she was forcibly converted to Islam. The name of Mian Mithu is enough to send shivers down the spine of any Hindus residing in Pakistan. Mian Mithu to his name has abducted 117 Hindu girls, forcefully converted them, and subsequently sold and married off to Muslim men.
Despite his various crimes nobody can touch Mian Mithu in Pakistan as he was a Member of the National Parliament when he successfully contested a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ticket in 2008. He is considered to be close to the actual head of state of Pakistan, Army Chief General Bajwa, and has been snapped multiple times with him. Despite his earlier association with the PPP, he also enjoys a good relationship with Imran Khan’s Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) with the latter even inviting him to join his party in 2015.
From 23% at the time of Partition, Hindus constitute around 5-6% of the total population today and will continue to decline as Pakistan attempts to displace whatever little minority population which is there in the country as they attempt to make Pakistan a complete Islamic nation.
Recently, Pakistan has refused to include Ahmadis in minority commission which has managed to create a stir in the country. The Ahmadi community who also have to bear the brunt of the atrocities as despite being adherents primarily to the Quran and the Prophet, are not recognized as Muslims by Pakistan’s establishment and their Constitution. The community has been historically persecuted against in the sorry excuse of a nation called Pakistan, and a recent development is a glowing testimony to the intolerance prevalent there.
A TV News channel in Pakistan flashed rather disturbing news for the common fundamentalists of Pakistan. The news reports suggested that Ahmadis were all set to be included in Pakistan’s National Commission for Minorities. This outraged many on social media, who immediately began trending anti-Ahmadi hashtags on Twitter and spewed hatred against the community. The trends went on to declare Ahmadis as ‘traitors’.
Following the unprecedented outrage, Pakistan’s religious affairs minister was forced to clarify that no such proposal was under consideration, which by the way is a blatant lie and a backtracking on the part of the government, fearing unprecedented amounts of backlash from large portions of Pakistan’s radical population.
Ali Muhammad Khan, a federal minister, went a step further and called for the beheading of all those who were involved in the blasphemy of the prophet, by which he was overtly indicative towards the Ahmadis.
While the world is scrambling to fight the pandemic, Pakistan true to its characteristics is refusing to give food to the poor Hindus. As per a report by ANI, the Hindus of Pakistan are being starved to death amid the Coronavirus outbreak. Thousands of poor and needy people gathered in Rehri Ghoth area of Karachi to receive food and essential supplies, as their wages have been hurt due to Coronavirus lockdown. But the Hindus of the area were turned away by both NGOs and local administration as they happen to be Hindu.
In the Sindh Province of Pakistan, more than 5 lakh Hindus live and most of them happen to be poor as they are discriminated by the locals as well as by the government. Hindus in Liyari, Sachal Ghoth, and various other parts of the Karachi city gathered to collect ration, as the central government of Pakistan directed the NGOs and local administration to distribute food to daily wage laborers whose earnings have been hit after Coronavirus outbreak. But these people were not allowed to pick up supplies just because they are Hindus.
Pakistan’s zeal for radical Islamic fundamentalism will eventually prove to be its undoing as the nation is rapidly plunging in the hands of radical Islamists ever since Imran Khan assumed the reigns of Pakistan. It seems that, if Pakistan is continued to be left to the religious extremists, the day is not far when even animals in Pakistan are forced to practice Islam.
