There have been questions and eyebrows raised all over the world regarding China’s surprisingly lower Wuhan virus death toll and infection numbers. More or less everybody seems to be on the same page when it comes to the answer and that is—Yes, China is lying. After all, the collusion with WHO was so sinister that the entire humanity has been gifted with this deadly pandemic. Now, a part of that lie has unraveled as China’s Wuhan—the epicenter of the novel Wuhan virus, has increased the virus’ death toll by as much as 50 percent with 1,290 more deaths. The total confirmed cases in the city of 11 million people has also been increased by 325 to 50,333, accounting for about two-thirds of China’s total 82,367 announced cases.
In a social media post, Wuhan city’s government updated the figures and in a rather quizzical manner admitted that there were many cases that were “mistakenly reported” or missed entirely, reported WION. The statement itself is paradoxical and if someone still believes that this is China’s final tally, we sincerely hope sense prevails there.
Questions have long swirled around the accuracy of China’s case reporting, with Wuhan, in particular, going several days in January without reporting new cases or deaths. That has led to accusations that Chinese officials were seeking to minimize the impact of the outbreak and reap the economic benefits by starting the factories at the earliest. China has put on its diplomatic offensive charm by supplying faulty test kits and other equipment all over the world.
As reported earlier by TFI, documents accessed by the South China Morning Post showed more than 40,000 asymptomatic patients presently out in the open that would not have been included in China’s total number of infections of more than 80,000. The number of known asymptomatic cases has been classified by the Chinese government.
To compound the problem, about 3 to 10 percent of patients who recovered from COVID-19 have again tested positive after being discharged from hospital, doctors in Wuhan have found. The Xi Jinping regime opened Wuhan on April 8 and the cases are likely to sky-rocket.
Forthcoming indications of a monstrous second wave have already come from Suifenhe a border city more than 2,600 kilometers away from Wuhan. The city from March 27 to April 9, has reported more than 100 cases, as well as 148 asymptomatic cases. China claims that all but three cases are ‘imported cases’.
The Chinese had lied earlier when they reported that the mortality rate from the Wuhan virus is less than 2 percent which was re-iterated by WHO but as of today death rate in many countries like the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain has hovered around double digits. In Italy and Belgium, the fatality rate presently stands at 12.8 percent, whereas in the United Kingdom the fatality rate is 12.7 percent. The global death rate is about six percent.
This again implies that China has under-reported death. As per a report by Bloomberg, “There were 56,007 cremations in Wuhan in the fourth quarter of 2019, according to data from the city’s civil affairs agency. The number of cremations was 1,583 higher than those in the fourth quarter of 2018 and 2,231 higher than the fourth quarter of 2017.”
China reported 3,300 deaths but it ordered 2 lakh body bags from Taiwan. The purchase of Urns and body bags reveals that the number of infected as well as that of the dead is much higher than reported by the Communist government. Moreover, the Communist Party of China is not allowing people to mourn their dead in a bid to hide the Coronavirus death toll. Wuhan’s government has issued a statement prohibiting individuals in the city from tomb-sweeping activities until April 30.
All these facts point to one direction– the numbers given by China today are another lie and it is trying to come ‘clean’ with even more lies. The world has already endured enough with the total number of cases crossing two million with 147,512 deaths and therefore China needs to come clean, otherwise, the repercussions could be far more precarious. The scientists across the world need accurate numbers and data to combat the virus and with China hiding the numbers, the wait for a vaccine and all the related studies to bear fruit will only be prolonged.
