In a major breakthrough for the security forces, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a father-daughter duo in Pulwama with regard to the Pulwama suicide bombing attack last year in which 40 CRPF soldiers had lost their lives.
The elite counter terrorism agency, NIA has revealed that the two had harboured the suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar, Shakir Magrey and senior Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) operatives in their house before February 14, 2019- when the dastardly attack took place.
The 50-year old man who has been arrested by the NIA has been identified as Tariq Ahmed Shah, while his 23-year old daughter has been identified as Insha Jan. The house of the arrested man was used for planning the dastardly attack. Moreover, the pre-suicide attack video which was released after the attack took place was also recorded at Ahmed Shah’s house.
Moreover, another local Shakir Bashir Magrey was also arrested last week for facilitating the suicide bomber Adil Ahmad Dar. An NIA statement revealed, “He provided shelter and other logistical assistance to the suicide-bomber Adil Ahmad Dar. He was introduced to Adil Ahmad Dar in mid-2018 by a Pakistani terrorist, Mohammad Umar Farooq and he became a full-time OGW of JeM. During his initial interrogation, he has disclosed that on several occasions, he collected and delivered arms, ammunition, cash and explosive material to the JeM terrorists, including those involved in Pulwama attack.”
More than a year after the cowardly attack took the entire country by shock and extreme grief, complete truth has come out in the case. This effectively debunks all claims of insider job which were being peddled by the opposition parties and the liberal brigade.
For the past one year, the opposition has been continuously and relentlessly trying to lend credence to such conspiracy theories about the Pulwama terror attack.
In fact, Rahul Gandhi’s cryptic tweet on the anniversary of the Pulwama terror attack had led to a massive outrage and widespread criticism. The Gandhi scion had tweeted, “Today as we remember our 40 CRPF martyrs in the #PulwamaAttack , let us ask:
- Who benefitted the most from the attack?
- What is the outcome of the inquiry into the attack?
- Who in the BJP Govt has yet been held accountable for the security lapses that allowed the attack?”

By asking “who benefitted from the attack”, the dynast was clearly subscribing to bizarre theories of the attack being an insider job. The Gandhi scion is too insensitive and apathetic to even believe that terror attacks could have even “benefitted” anyone. The language of the entire tweet tried to impute the complicity of the Indian government in the terror attack.
Even the Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury made similar remarks after the arrest of Jammu & Kashmir police DSP, Davinder Singh. Chowdhury asked what would have happened if the arrested police officer, Davinder Singh were to be a Muslim.
Had #DavindarSingh by default been Davindar khan ,the reaction of troll regiment of RSS would have been more strident and vociferous. Enemies of our country ought to be condemned irrespective of Colour, Creed, and Religion.

While the entire world had come down hard on Pakistan and Jaish e Mohammed over the cowardly fidayeen attack, the Cogress and its top leadership has been more interested in somehow implicating the Indian government and security forces in the Pulwama terror attack, thereby exonerating Islamabad.
Even in April last year, Farooq Abdullah had made rather absurd and shameful remarks about the terror attack directly accusing the Modi government of orchestrating the attack. He had said, “CRPF jawans were martyred by him (PM Modi) just for his chair.” Taking this ugly tirade forward, he had said, “Were Indian soldiers not Martyred in Chhattisgarh’ Did Modi Ji go there to give them blood’ Did he sympathise with their families’ Did he say something about soldiers who were martyred here’ But those 40 CRPF people who were martyred, Which I doubt. And I am telling you the truth”.
The entire opposition had therefore come together trying to blame Modi government for the dastardly attack. But with the arrest of the father-daughter duo, the entire chain of events is now complete and the identity of those who facilitated the attack by providing logistical and ancillary support has now come out in the open.
This effectively puts all conspiracy theories to rest.
