“Trump defamed Americans”, Anti-Trump media’s coverage of POTUS’ India visit is puke inducing

In Trump’s own language “The lunatics in media don’t want to thank me ever”

“Trump defamed Americans”, Anti-Trump media’s coverage of POTUS’ India visit is puke inducing
Share on FacebookShare on X

The Trump-Modi meet has turned out to be a huge success with unprecedented scenes at Motera Stadium, Ahmedabad as US President Trump addressed a huge crowd of 125,000 people. The liberal media had huge heartburn and instead chose to focus on meaningless things in their shameful coverage of Trump’s historic visit to India.

At the forefront, had to be CNN who has started to act more like the official propaganda tool for the Democrats. Instead of focusing on the finer details of the meet between two of the most powerful leaders of the world – the network focused over the food options in India. The network blinded by its hatred over Trump once hyperventilated over the fact that Trump was being served an extra scoop of ice cream has now focused on how Trump ‘never eats vegetable’. Recently, CNN published an article – “’I have never seen him eat a vegetable:’ Trump braces for a beef-free menu in India” – co-written by Kaitlan Collins, Kevin Liptak and Vivian Salama. “When President Donald Trump travels abroad … his hosts usually try make him feel at home with his favorite meal: steak with miniature bottles of ketchup on the side. But what’s a beef-lover to do in India? The president, whose diet is often a rotation of steaks, burgers and meatloaf, faces a potential shock as he prepares to travel to three Indian cities this week,” CNN wrote.

The CNN tries to sow the seeds of discord as it tries to portray Trump as a beef-eating megalomaniac who can’t even go without eating his favourite dish for a meagre 36 hours. Everyone knows that cows are considered to be sacred in the Hindu culture and only CNN can focus on Trump’s eating habits over what’s at stake when the leaders of two of the world’s largest democracies meet. CNN even went to the extent of pointing how the beef wasn’t available at McDonalds India. The report made sure to note that “even one of the president’s favorite fast food restaurants, McDonald’s, doesn’t serve beef in India.” The idea that Trump is in for a dietary “shock” in India simply reflects CNN’s cultural ignorance.

The CNN, in another piece, wrote about Trump’s mispronunciation of names of Indian cricket greats and how it lit up the social media. The CNN ran an article which claimed: “The vast crowd lapped it up, but reaction around the world was one of more amusement as US President Donald Trump had a bit of a tongue twisting problem with the names of two of India’s greatest cricket stars while addressing thousands of people packed into the Motera stadium in Ahmedabad. This is a country where your people cheer on some of the world’s great crickets players from ‘Soo-chin Tendulkerr’ to ‘Virot Ko-lee.” Despite the huge roar, social media focused on Trump’s mispronunciations.

Politico tried to insinuate that Trump was visiting India more of his organisation than as the leader of the USA. In its article titled ‘Trump visits a big foreign market — for the U.S. and for Trump Org’ it claims: “The White House hopes the visit will advance trade talks and bolster the president’s standing with Indian-Americans ahead of the 2020 election. But it’s also a trip that will create attention that could help Trump-branded properties amid a slumping real estate market and slowing economy in India. Already, in the days leading up to the trip, some Indian media outlets have referenced the Trump properties in their coverage, with one even suggesting the president chose his speaking location because of his longstanding ties to realtors in the region.” Of course, the publication makes such tall claims with no proof as it then moves to portray Trump as the salesman rather than the statesman. The publication labelled the entire visit as Trump’s personal visit as it completely ignored to focus on the nitty-gritty of the visit and the deals on the table.

Whenever Trump and Modi meet, international coverage has always been biased. Even during the Howdy Modi event, the New York Times claimed that Trump was playing second fiddle to PM Modi. It is no wonder that Trump and Modi, do not bat an eye what the international media has to say about them as the two fiercely nationalistic leaders put their respective nations first before anything else.
