Recently the second trailer of the much-awaited film ‘Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior’ was launched in Delhi. Many people have praised the trailer, with some calling it as even better than the first one. During the trailer launch in Delhi, the acting crew, led by Ajay Devgn conversed with media on various news. In one such discussion, Ajay Devgn unapologetically told about his views on the protests related to his movie, based on the exploits of Maratha warrior Tanaji Malusare. To quote him, “Ek toh communities itni hai ki koi na koi hurt ho hi jayega. Then there are those who do it for fame. The genuine ones, you can still have a conversation with. But at the end of the day, we will never be able to make everyone happy.”
When he was asked about his views on the ongoing anti CAA protests, Ajay Devgn had this to say – “This is a democracy. The establishment has an opinion, and there are those who do not agree with that opinion. Everyone should have the right to express their opinion. Violence is not the answer. Instead of fighting, things should be settled amicably, so that the aam janta doesn’t suffer.”
On the other hand, there are many people from the elite section of Bollywood, who are up in arms against the government over the anti CAA protests, with some even ready to back the antisocial elements for their arson that invited a harsh counter-attack from the Delhi Police. While ‘celebs’ like Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadda are backing the hooligans in the name of freedom of speech, even actors like Ayushmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao are backing the hooligans even after knowing that they’re far from innocent.
Some like Kubbra Sait tried to teach PM Modi ethics even when they didn’t know the C of CAB or CAA, while some like Parineeti Chopra even went to the extent of declaring that Indian democracy is no more with her tweets.
If this is what’s gonna happen everytime a citizen expresses their view, forget #CAB, we should pass a bill and not call our country a democracy anymore! Beating up innocent human beings for speaking their mind? BARBARIC.

However, unlike the ones mentioned above, Ajay Devgn doesn’t believe in unnecessary Hindu bashing to achieve fame. He recently proved this a month ago, when contrary to the liberal portals, Ajay chose the legendary comic book publisher Amar Chitra Katha as the promotional partner for the promotion of his film.
Ajay announced the same by tweeting, “History may not repeat itself but lessons of bravery & valour from our shur-veer yoddhas like Tanaji are a great example for our children. I’m happy to announce a special edition of Amar Chitra Katha featuring Tanhaji.”
However, Ajay Devgn didn’t stop at that. during the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn responded to the question of social media trolling, “I have no problem when someone commenting on me. But I can’t imagine what mentality lies behind those who troll small kids.” Backing Ajay on the same, Kajol said, “Had they been celebrity kids, and not normal ones, would you have reacted in the same way”? Given the current approach, we don’t need rocket science to determine who Ajay pointed at.
There is the opportunistic wing of Bollywood, and then there is Ajay Devgn, who presented a mature stance on the CAA issue without being unfair to anyone. To be fair, Ajay Devgn has once again proved that he is not the Bollywood personality who even supports anti-Indian elements for a few seconds of fame.
