A video has gone viral on social media in which certain Congress workers can be seen protesting about the withdrawal of the SPG cover to the Nehru-Gandhi family. However, in what can be described as a foot in the mouth moment for the grand old party the young, enthusiastic Congress workers can be seen failing to explain the reason for their protest.

Yesterday, the Congress youth-wing members had launched a vociferous protest against the decision to withdraw the SPG security given to the Nehru-Gandhi family members. They also went on to burn the effigies of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Modi during their protests against the withdrawal of the highest grade security cover to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and her children, Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.
The TV9 Bharatvarsh video, which has now gone viral exposes the cluelessness of the protests and lack of purpose behind the entire exercise. In this video, the journalist can be heard asking a Congress worker, “Why are you breaking the barricades? Why are you here?” To this the Congress worker replies, “We are here because tanashahi (dictatorship) will no longer be tolerated.” However, he could not explain whose dictatorship he was talking about and abruptly mutters that everyone is doing dictatorship.
The journalist can be seen persisting in his conversation with the clueless worker and asking him what the protest was all about. The Congress worker can be seen exhibiting ignorance once again and saying, “We are supposed to stay with our team, we do not know anything.”
The intrigued journalist can be then asking another Congress worker, breaking barricades at the spot of protest, about the purpose of his presence. This worker also exhibits complete cluelessness and claims that he is there for the Congress. The video gets only more hilarious towards the end when some fascinated Congress leaders gather around. On being enquired about the protest, they have a bundle of answers. One of them said that they were protesting for jobs and later seems to qualify himself as protesting for government jobs.
Even after the journalist dropped a hint that the protest was related to a security issue, the worker seemed clueless and claimed that the security of people was also an agenda of the protest. Another worker can be seen corroborating his version.
The dedicated Congress workers must be commended for their commitment. They joined the protest, even though they had no clue what the protest was all about. They have also been able to uphold the high standards of ignorance, cluelessness and incompetence set by their former president and dynastic successor, Rahul Gandhi. In fact, their complete ignorance and cluelessness are reminiscent of Rahul Gandhi’s unforgettable gaffes and blunders.
