Savita Bhabhi, Sexual relations in Mughal India and few other ridiculous topics on which JNU ‘scholars’ have done PhD research

Jawaharlal Nehru University and controversy have become synonymous over the years. Every now and then, the institution is in the news for all the wrong reasons as the institution has been hijacked by the communists who in turn, regularly resort to hooliganism and vandalism. The institution was recently in the news for hiking its hostel fees which were at abysmally low rates as the communists claimed that the hike in fees would hinder them from pursuing their studies. At such a time, it is important to look at what kind of studies the Indian taxpayer exactly is paying for.

The JNU PhD research students receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 28,000 from the government and the topics that they do their research on are a testament to how the students are just there to enjoy their lives at the expense of taxpayer’s money.

One JNU researcher thought it was prudent to research on “Rethinking Gujarati Identity through the Image of Savita Bhabhi’’. Yes, the researcher thought it was prudent to study the impact of a pornographic character on the cultural values of Gujarat.

Coming up with an idea of such sorts when the country struggles with a plethora of serious issues, is a privilege granted upon you when you are a JNU student. Having a perverted approach towards your distasteful thesis is awarded with a PhD in this esteemed heavily government funded institution.

Marxist historians and their love story with the Mughals have been well documented but it seems that they went overboard when a certain JNU student researched on “Sexual and gender relations in Mughal India”. Of course, to study the barbarity of the Mughal empire is passe for the brilliant students of JNU.

A certain section of students sought to document their partying at the JNU campus as they researched on “Leisure-time activities of college students of Delhi: A Sociological study” – a dream life indeed. Another fantastic PhD study was on ‘Dress, fashion and femininity: A case study of fashion models, fashion designers, and women students’.

JNU is full of Islamist radicals with Umar Khalid being the flag bearer and there’s a reason this. An enlightened student thought it’s prudent to conduct research on “The reproduction of Islamic education: A study of two Madrasas” at two madrasas in Uttar Pradesh and feed on Islamic propaganda. It seems that the JNU students have an obsession with sex and pornography as another student carried out a research on “A comparative study between Indian and Japanese prostitution” – a brilliant way to spend the taxpayer’s money indeed.

Kanhaiya Kumar, the former JNU student leader who was embroiled in a sedition case for slogans like ‘Bharat tere tukde honge’ had a plethora of Indian issues to do a valuable PhD on but he chose South Africa. He studied ‘The Process of Decolonisation and Social transformation in South Africa’. Kanhaiya Kumar a rabid Marxist who not so long ago, raised the chants to break India into a thousand pieces, showed his true colours when he used a disreputable journal, which is blacklisted internationally, to get his article published for PhD thesis submission. The very eminent, globally trusted Beall’s List had mentioned that the International Research Journal of Humanities, Engineering and Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJHEPS), where Kanhaiya’s article appeared, was earlier deemed a a ‘predatory journal’ (those that accept money for the publication of a research article bypassing peer review).

The claims that JNU is not a place for anyone who is not a Marxist or an Islamist is further backed when a JNU PhD Scholar claimed that a professor forced him to project Hindi as a ‘Communal Language’. The professor allegedly said, “There is no place for such pro-Hindi research in JNU! You better go to Delhi University….and idolise Bhartendu Harishchandra!”

Of late, in what reeks of a serious case of entitlement, JNU students have been protesting against a hostel rent hike which ran on the lines of Rs 10 to Rs 300 for double capacity rooms and Rs 20 to Rs 600 for single capacity rooms. These are the cheapest hostel rates of all government funded universities in the country. The JNU students crossed all limits when they vandalised the statue of Swami Vivekanand which was soon to be inaugurated. The leftist influence has crept in almost every corner of JNU with students regularly resorting to hooliganism and vandalism. The same students have no intention to carry out meaningful research and contribute to nation-building and deserve no sympathy or subsidy in fees.
