Campaign underway in Pakistani Media to see Congress victorious in the Lok Sabha elections

In the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections, political parties are leaving no stone unturned in order to get political mileage out of anything. Congress party appears to have taken it seriously as it is going ahead with ‘khoon ki dalali’ for securing victory in the general election of 2019. Although the whole nation is well aware of Congress’ hypocrisy (as can be observed in various surveys), the Grand Old Party is getting some good news from Pakistan.

It seems that there is a sustained campaign underway in Pakistan with a motive of Congress’ victory. Yesterday, in a TV debate on 92 News (Pakistani news channel), a panelist named Zafar Hilaly cursed the Modi government. However, what took many by surprise is the fact that he suddenly started praising the Grand Old party and further wished for its victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

It is no longer a secret that there are a lot of well-wishers of the Grand Old party in Pakistan. Earlier, in a similar way, on a panel discussion on Samaa TV (Pakistani news channel), a panelist claimed that Congress party will secure victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The Pakistani panelist on Samaa TV was spitting venom against India throughout the discussion but interestingly wished for the victory of Grand Old party in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Prior to this, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Suresh Nakhua exposed the unholy nexus between the Congress party and Pakistan. He shared some screenshots of a WhatsApp group run by the Congress party and claimed that the group has many members from the terrorist nation, Pakistan. The name of the WhatsApp group is “India Political Network.” Several Congress leaders are also part of this group.

Earlier, a 2016 Pakistan Senate document revealed its policy of supporting anti-Modi forces within India. The document titled, “Policy Guidelines In View Of the Latest Situation-developing between India and Pakistan”, lists out several policy guidelines for Pakistan in order to tackle its bilateral relations with India. The Pakistan Senate document makes it clear that it wanted to join hands with the liberal brigade in India and exploit the intolerance-related propaganda against Modi government. It must be kept in mind that these policy directives were drafted by the Pakistani senate in a desperate attempt to weaken and destabilize India.

Moreover, the opposition could not get over the temptation to attack the Government of India and PM Modi at a time when the nation must stand together in order to take on the terrorist nation. The opposition has shamelessly attacked PM Modi and the BJP claiming that they are trying to politicise the Pulwama attack and the growing tensions between India and Pakistan even as the Lok Sabha polls are around the corner. 21 opposition parties issued a joint statement making baseless allegations against the government. The statement which was read out by the Congress president Rahul Gandhi stated, “National security must transcend narrow political considerations. The leader observed that the Prime Minister has regrettably not convened an-all party meeting as the established practice in our democracy.”

Now, amidst war-like situation between India and Pakistan, a sustained campaign seems to be underway for the Congress party. It seems that the propaganda of the Congress leaders like Digvijay Singh, and Salman Khurshid and its allies like Kumaraswamy are a part of a bigger plan. These ‘peace-mongers’ are constantly peddling the Pakistani narrative and undermining not only the government but the forces as well.
