Kader Khan, a veteran actor, comedian and writer passed away yesterday. The senior actor had acted in more than 300 movies and written dialogues for about 200 movies. His passing away is shocking news for the cinema fraternity as well as his fans. But in the meantime, left-liberal media house, ‘The Wire’ is busy in denigrating the actor.
In an article dated 31st December, The Wire wrote, “The Khan-Kapoor (Shakti Kapoor) duo shtick was mainly double-entendre jokes, loudly delivered.” Here, in the article, ‘The Wire’ has accused the veteran actor of cracking double meaning and cheap jokes in his movies. The ‘Epitome of Hypocrisy’ went a step further and termed his movies “eminently forgettable” and tried to derogate Khan’s stature by stating that he played “cheap roles”. In another stanza, the ‘home of disgraced journalists’ wrote, “That success continued right into the 1990s, but by then, the films and the audiences had changed. Khan found that there were no takers for subtlety; everyone wanted crass, risqué lines and the roles he got”.
In the whole article, there was a failed attempt to portray the legend in a bad light. But the main reason for this shameful commentary appears to be something else. Kader Khan, in his entire career of around 3-decade, had never played the victim card, which simply doesn’t go well with the left-liberal cabal. The cabal always seeks actors of such repute to malign the Modi government but Khan was never moved by the fake propaganda of ‘intolerance’ and ‘Award Wapsi’ campaign.
Another thing that offended the liberal cabal was Kader’s decision of not becoming a part of the Anti-Modi brigade. The Wire is a widely acclaimed anti-Modi propaganda peddler organization. Denigrating the veteran actor is a classic case of the nefarious behavior which is the modus operandi of the very ‘news’ portal. The Wire and other anti-Modi media believe in peddling fake news and are adept at presenting half-truths to suit their narrative.
While the whole “too” educated, elite, the liberal class was busy in buying the fake agenda of the Grand Old party and decided to start the Award Wapsi campaign, Kader Khan maintained a distance from the so-called protest. Kader Khan was well-aware that Modi-government is praised by the masses and thus he chose to respect the people’s mandate.
Moreover, Mr. Khan never mixed politics with the profession. In all sense, he was a true legend and will always be remembered for his impeccable comic timing. Meanwhile, ‘The Wire’ should show some grace and sympathy to the dead actor.
In another instance, The Wire also tried to make use of the demise of the former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee to further its own agenda. In its one of the articles, ‘The Wire’ claimed that Atal Ji was always a “mukhota” (mask) of the BJP. The Wire also claimed that while Vajpayee ostensibly appeared liberal, he was always a Sangh loyalist from within.
Left leaning news website ‘The Wire’ has often landed itself in troubles owing to its half-truth reporting style. It has many-a-time targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies or anyone not supporting its agenda reporting. The Wire has quite often crossed the line and has not been confined to biased reporting only. It has at times crossed the limit to peddle fake news. It frequently requires to pull down its articles and to seek apologies for its misreporting and factual inaccuracies.
