Since the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, one thing has been a ubiquitous and defining feature of every Indian election and that is PM ModiтАЩs campaign, soaked with personal appeal and an ability to turn around the outcomes of elections with even a single rally prior to the elections.
Narendra Modi is one of the most popular Prime Ministers that India has ever witnessed. Whatever he or his government does, he makes sure that the whole country becomes aware of it. No one can deny his expertise at public presentations which he has mastered over the years.
When PM Modi campaigned in Rajasthan, the reception he got from the state was indicative of the fact that his appeal has only grown among the masses. The positivity of his work coupled with the fierceness of his speeches was pulling huge crowds.
Wednesday was the last day of the election campaign in Rajasthan before the voting starts. While addressing a rally in Dausa PM Modi said, тАЬWe are certain that Rajasthan will get a BJP government. The campaign will end today at 5 pm. I request all of you to vote in large numbers; Pehle matdaan, phir jalpaan.тАЭ
He attacked Congress and their policies by saying: тАЬDausa is known for Khadi. Mahatma Gandhi had started Khadi to make the people of India Self-sustaining. But, this тАШfake GandhiтАЩ family destroyed the Khadi industry of India.┬а It was the BJP that not only revived the Khadi industry but made India proud of it. In fact, when the Khadi Jacket came to be known as the ‘Modi Jacket, the Congress could not fathom it!тАЭ
He concluded his speech by:

Earlier while addressing a rally in Sumerpur, Pali district, PM made a direct attack on Rahul Gandhi by saying, тАЬCongressтАЩ President doesnтАЩt even know the names of his own party leaders. He didnтАЩt even know the name of a popular Jat leader from Congress, late Kumbharam Ji. He called him ‘Kumbhakaran’. You can imagine what such people will do if they come to powerтАЭ. тАЬNaamdaar’s relatives have taken away lands from farmers for free… They were colluding with Ashok GehlotтАЭ, he added.

One defining aspect of the speeches in Rajasthan is his consistent attack on the dynasty and his appreciations for the NDA governmentтАЩs work so far in order to bring scamsters and corrupts to justice who flourished under the Nehru-Gandhi family. PM Modi is known to be a great finisher when it comes to ensure the momentum of election campaigns in BJPтАЩs favour. He has been proved so in the previous election in the state of Gujarat where mainstream media speculated a BJP loss.
At least, that does not appear to be the case in Rajasthan. The BJP is still going strong in the state according to the top political analysts of the country. This might be different from what the mainstream media tries to portray though. The BJP could ensure its win in Rajasthan owing to a weak Congress think tank. A strong campaign might just do the trick for the party in the days to come and the mainstream media along with the opposition might have to sulk again post the assembly elections.
