Another mini-Pakistan is in making in Dhanpura village of Uttarakhand. According to the reports, 60 Hindu families have left the village since 1994 due to harassment and under pressure from Muslim community. The remaining villagers are on a hunger strike against harassment by Muslim community and are demanding immediate security from the government. There are barely 20 Hindu families left in the village.

The Times of India has quoted former gram pradhan of Dhanpura Ram Pal saying, “There has never been any mass exodus from Dhanpura. However, some Hindu families voluntarily left the area some six years ago due to communal tension. The village has a population of 40% Hindus and the communal rift is palpable mostly during Hindu festivals.”

Sadhvi Prachi who was in Dehradun on Wednesday, said, “Hindus have been forced to leave communally sensitive Dhanpura village. I will not sit silent over the issue.” She expressed shock that exodus of Hindus is being reported in Devbhoomi. She further added, “Minor girls are being coaxed and at times even forced into marriage. There is a need for a law to prevent cases of ‘Love Jihad’ in the country.”

What’s abominable is that none of the mainstream media house is giving such a serious any serious coverage to Dhanpura as the perpetrators are from the “other community”. It is shameful that the mainstream media has decided to go comatose over this issue and is yet to term this as a religion based act of terror, simply because it is the Hindus and not Muslims who are at the receiving end of it.

It’s not the first stance of Hindu exodus in the country,it is neither unheard of nor an isolated event. In UP, Kairana had become a hot bed for various crimes directed towards Hindus by elements from the ‘other community’ which was in majority in the area. This issue was first raised by Late BJP MP Hukum Singh in the national media from where it became a hot topic and got some of its due share of limelight. The allegations of crimes against Hindu community members and the subsequent exodus had been proven by a National Human Rights Council (NHRC) report published in 2016. According to the report, at least 250 Hindu families had migrated from Kairana due to hooliganism and extortion threats. Village Jahanpura in Kairana had 60 Hindu families but after the exodus, the Hindu population was reduced to zero, a rude reminder of what future could hold for the Hindus of Hindu-sthan. Many Hindu families had abandoned village Panjeeth in Kairana. At a press conference, Late Hukum Singh had also claimed back then that there have been at least 10 communal killings in the town. He had compared the Hindu exodus from Kairana to that of Kashmiri Pundit’s exodus from the Valley.

In May, similar reports of exodus of Hindu families emerged from Agra as well. Hindu families living in Shastri Nagar colony of Shamshabad road in Agra city of Uttar Pradesh have been forced to migrate due to the harassment of the families by influential and anti-social elements belonging to a ‘particular community’. This unfortunate incident has been reported by One India and Patrika. The troubled Hindu families in Shastri Nagar colony, Agra city, carried out an agitation accusing the troublesome members of the “particular community”. The Hindu families living under fear in the area complained that some of the fundamentalists in the region indulged in unruly behavior hurling abuses and communal barbs at the Hindus, to add the instances of molestation and bullying were at their zenith.

It is alleged that the “particular community” living in the paavan dham mod were hell-bent on driving out the Hindus from the particular area. Reportedly, Hindus in the area unanimously decided to sell of their properties and flee to some other area.

Notice boards stating *house for sale” similar to the ones that had become prevalent when Hindu families were migrating from Kairana has been seen in Shastri Nagar also.

Hindus are not safe in national capital also. The reports of exodus of Hindu families surfaced from Delhi’s Brahmpuri colony. The Hindus of colony of Brahmpuri located in north-east Delhi are facing situations currently which are similar to those faced by residents of Kairana and Agra. The Islamic extremists have resorted to vandalism and spreading mischief in a mob in order to force the residents of Delhi to flee from their houses. The families from Brahmpuri locality have put ‘For Sale’ boards in front of their homes and are looking to move away from the area owing to the increased interference and intimidation from members belonging to the Muslim community.

There are many more mini-Pakistans in the country which mainstream media conveniently chooses to ignore because it doesn’t fit into their narrative of secularism. Terming the hardliners from the Muslim community as violent and fear mongers would be blasphemous for the mainstream media and it would also be self-defeating.  Lutyens’ media strongly believes and peddles a lie, that a Hindu can never be a victim of riots and minority extremism. For intelligentsia there is no such thing as minority extremism and intolerance of minorities, only Hindus are demons guised as humans and Muslims are demigods who can do no wrong to any mortal. As per the mafia all rights should be reserved for Muslims and Muslims only and Hindus should have no rights at all, human or otherwise. The deafening silence of “liberals” only reinforces the fact that they support the atrocities perpetuated against Hindus by Muslims. Media is directly responsible for the exodus of Hindus from various corners of the country as they go into a self imposed coma when it is Hindus who are at the receiving end of the atrocities of the “other community”. Dhanpura serves as a grim reminder of the fact that wherever the “other community” is in majority, the area becomes uninhabitable for Hindus.
