Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be BJP’s star campaigner in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram state assembly elections. Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dr. Dinesh Sharma will also be given responsibility of campaigning.
At the same time, a large number of government ministers and party office bearers will look after the election management in five poll bound states. On Monday night, at the BJP core group meeting the discussion over the upcoming elections in the five states was at the top of the agenda. Along with that the idea to employ UP CM Yogi, Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dr. Dinesh Sharma, and other party office bearers was also discussed.
In Rajasthan, CM Yogi’s presence would be crucial because the state has many Ashrams belonging to the ‘Nath’ sect and a considerable number of followers of the sect.
Ever since CM Yogi came to power in Uttar Pradesh, he has been a star campaigner for the party. Whether it was in Gujarat or in Tripura, he played an important role in the BJP’s victories. In Tripura, five of seven seats where the CM Yogi sought to mobilise people in the BJP’s favour, was won by the saffron party.
CM Yogi was also one of the BJP’s star-campaigner in Karnataka elections and the results were in the BJP’s favor. In Karnataka, the BJP had won 34 seats out of 35 seats on which Yogi Adityanath had campaigned. CM Yogi’s image as a pro-farmer and grass root leader, who understands the concerns of the downtrodden masses has greatly worked in favour of the BJP in Karnataka state assembly elections.
Sir, Yogi had 35 rallies n roadshows in Karnataka n we won 34!

CM Yogi addressed a large number of meetings, rallies and road shows in Gujarat, Karnataka and Tripura. CM Yogi, in his rallies, was able to garner the attention of the voters. Substance and style of CM Yogi’s eloquence clicked with the common people. He enjoyed mass crowd support in his rallies and had significantly altered the eventual outcome of the results in a positive manner for the BJP. The results were largely in favor of the BJP in the constituencies where CM Yogi had addressed rallies and as a result the BJP is planning to bring CM Yogi into use to conduct back to back rallies and the road shows in the upcoming state assembly elections of five states.
CM Yogi is also a nightmare for many opposition leaders. His presence in election is no less than an eyesore for the opposition. He has become a star campaigner for the BJP; voters of states such as Tripura, Gujarat and Karnataka have already put a stamp on his acceptability and image as a firebrand speaker. CM Yogi’s hard stance on criminals and his approach towards development in the state have further boosted his credentials. CM Yogi, with his Hindutva image, would definitely evoke emotions of people in the upcoming state assembly elections. BJP is hoping that his presence in these states would result in consolidation of Hindu votes. It would not only help the BJP in these poll bound states but also pave the way for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2019.
India is well on the way to Congress wipe-out and the country is making sure it happens soon with PM Modi and CM Yogi showing the way. The Modi wave is just getting more and more intense state after state and election after election. However, opposition parties still deny that there is any such thing as Modi wave.
