In a recent interview to Patrika, the well-known actor, lyricist, music director and screenplay writer, Piyush Mishra talked about many things. He appreciated PM Modi’s efforts to bring change in the nation and he also said that it will take at least 10 years to bring things on track considering the neglect displayed by the Congress government under its 66 years of ruling. However, the most striking part of the interview was Piyush Mishra’s scathing criticism of Anurag Kashyap with whom Piyush Mishra has worked on many projects.
Piyush Mishra is right when he said Anurag Kashyap seems to have lost his mind completely after the movie Gangs of Wasseypur. It is a well-known fact that nowadays, Anurag Kashyap’s movies and shows are all about spreading a specific agenda and denouncing a particular ideology. He is the blue-eyed of the liberal-leftist lobby. The entire cabal enthusiastically supported him over his remark of Hindu Terror.

When the controversy erupted over referring Rajeev Gandhi as a “Fattu” (translated as ‘pussy’ in subtitles) in his web television series- Sacred Games– Anurag Kashyap maintained stoic silence. Instead, he praised Rahul Gandhi over his rhetoric and the cabal also stood in defence of one of their most ‘handsome’ Prime Minister. The entire episode showed blatant double-standard of the cabal and the Congress party.

Anurag Kashyap is also one of the prominent members of the ‘intellectual community’ who are ‘living under emergency’ in Modi Raj. Time and again Anurag Kashyap has shown his true colors by peddling venomous agenda. On example of his wicked intentions can be seen in the movie Mukkabaaz. Mukkabaaz is nothing but a repackaging of 90’s style cinema where there is an absolutely lovable hero who wants to make it big and there is an absolutely loathsome villain who wants to destroy the hero at any cost. But there is a catch, the villain is a Brahmin and there is no subtlety in his being a Brahmin, he wears his Brahmin identityon his sleeve. Villain of the movie Bhagwan Das Mishra (Jimmy Shergill) runs a boxing Akhada. Bhagwan Das Mishra makes it a point to mention it several times in the movie that he is a Brahmin and his will reigns supreme. He is a failed boxer and has grudges with budding young boxers. The most talented boxer in his Akhada, Shravan Singh (Vineet Kumar Singh) turns rebel and Bhagwan Das Mishra is possessed with an irrepressible urge of destroying his career. Mishra has every trait that constitutes a villain. He is shallow, he is vile, he is petty, and to add to it he hates everyone who is not a Brahmin.
Mukkabaaz presents Brahmins as the ultimate baddies and Anurag Kashyap makes no efforts to conceal it. The Brahmin bashing in this movie is unsubtle and in your face. In fact, Anurag Kashyap glamorizes a Brahmin’s hatred for other castes. Mukkabaaz is nothing but a cinematic version of what Anurag Kashyap believes in.

Anurag Kashyap’s recent series Sacred Games also shows a Brahmin as the main villain and in a very subtle way peddles anti-Hindu agenda.
His partisan political agenda was at its zenith in the movie Bhavesh Joshi Super Hero. The movie is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and is also co-written by Motwane along with Anurag Kashyap and Abhay Koranne. In the movie, a right-wing nationalist party leader murders young boys who are fighting against tanker mafia.
In another recent Netflix series Ghoul which is jointly produced by Anurag Kashyap and others, Hindus have been shown as oppressors. It’s nothing but just propaganda in the garb of a horror series. It is well thought of propaganda against the government, army and Hindus showing them as the perpetrators of crimes based on religious lines.
Probably this is what prompted Piyush Mishra to say, “Anurag Kashyap jaise log par bhi rok lagni chahiye kyuki uska bas chale to pata nahi kya bana de.” Piyush Mishra is absolutely right when he says that “Anurag has lost his mind.”
As the 2019 general elections are coming near, supply of such anti-Hindu and anti-government movies and shows is on the rise. This is how the cabal is campaigning for the 2019 elections. In a not-so-subtle way they are peddling anti-Hindu narrative and demonizing a party/government which is dedicated to the cause of Hindu religion and the nation. Nationalism and Hinduism both are being demonized in the recent movies made by the activists of the liberal-leftist cabal masquerading as artists.
Piyush Mishra however told Deccan Chronicle that he was misquoted by media and that all is well between him and Kashyap whom he considers his closest creative partner in Mumbai. Well! that sounds like a convenient clarification but Mishra’s absence from all of Kashyap’s recent works is a telltale sign of why everything isn’t well between the two.
