On Thursday the 23rd of August, Twitter was abuzz with photos of the ‘star performer’ for the Bharatiya Janata Party. The attention of the people which had remained fixed for many days on the Asian Games and the floods in Kerala was distracted to a large extent by the efforts of the Congress party. The Congress president Rahul Gandhi is currently on a visit to Germany after the news of floods in Kerala and Karnataka reached him. It is perhaps because of the floods that the Congress party urged Rahul to leave the country as soon as possible. Congress, in coalition with JDS, is in power in Karnataka. If not for his Germany trip Rahul would have been pressured to visit the flood affected districts of Karnataka. Kerala too is ruled by the opposition party of the central government, CPM, as the prime opposition of the centre a Kerala visit might have been on the cards too. The Congress leaders probably deliberated and came to the conclusion that they could not afford anymore photos of Rahul Gandhi smiling around when death and destruction were at large.
Rahul Gandhi therefore was sent off on his four day visit to Germany and United Kingdom under the garb of Congress’s NRI outreach program. After the numerous guffaws he made in his address at Kampnagel theatre at Bucerius Summer School in Hamburg, Germany which ranged from terming the Indians as ‘misogynists’ to saying that ISIS was created due to joblessness, Rahul went out to explore the rest of Germany.
The official handle of Congress tweeted a picture of Rahul Gandhi standing next to a wall in a bewildered looking manner. The Congress president in the four photo collage can be seen turning his head around like a child, looking lost and confused. The Congress president in our honest opinion should quickly fire the photographer who managed to make Rahul like a complete fool. It is not yet known whether Rahul wanted to look nonchalant or just plain confused while he got these photos clicked, but the results are hilarious, to say the least.

What followed next was even more amazing, the Twitter handle of Congress burst with people sharing, tweeting and liking these funny looking shots. People compared the poses of Rahul to headshots of criminals, while some others also compared it to that of a kid in Disneyland. The funny comments which followed speak volumes about how the Congress president had managed to troll himself once again, with a little support from the party this time. The photo collage titled, “The many facets of Rahul Gandhi”, instead turned to ‘the bewilderment of Rahul Gandhi’.
Not so surprisingly, the BJP jumped into the fray too, how could it, after all, miss an opportunity to applaud another adventure of its star-performer. While just hours ago, the BJP had been targeting Rahul Gandhi for his comments made during his address in Germany, it lost no time in having some fun at the expense of Congress.
Even we couldn't resist retweeting this ;) https://t.co/M0y9Uvun7M

There were no additions to the tweet, no jibe intended to hurt, but the meaning was out for all to see. With a simple ‘Even we couldn’t resist retweeting this ;)’, the BJP handle shared this tweet so that its followers too could have some fun.
