Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is not new to drama and antiques coupled with bizarre demands and accusations which are always ready to be levied on anyone who challenges Delhi’s very own Mr. Honesty. In a surprising move (for the public, not for Kejriwal) Kejriwal decided to stage a sit-in protest along with his Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Cabinet Ministers Satyendra Jain and Gopal Rai at the house of Delhi LG Anil Baijal’s office. Mr. Kejriwal had a bizarre demand prior to his meeting with the LG. He wanted the LG to take care of the protesting IAS officers who, according to him, were putting roadblocks on his work as the Delhi CM. LG Baijal had agreed to meet with Kejriwal and discuss the issue, but Kejriwal remained steadfast on his demand to meet the LG along with his ministers.
It is difficult to ascertain why Kejriwal wanted his ministers to meet the LG. Did he want a group photograph with the LG or was he afraid of the LG beating him just like he had hit a bureaucrat during a meeting held at his own house is yet to be known. Epitome of hard work, Kejriwal lay flat on the sofa and has stayed there ever since, refusing to come out. The big question was who will do the drama on his behalf since he had little to no access to media from inside the LG’s house? The answer came and it came from inside his family. His wife Sunita Kejriwal took on the mantle from her hard working husband.
Sunita Kejriwal took to Twitter to say, “Respected LG sir, are we four ladies, mother and wife of CM, wife of Dy CM and wife of Satyendar Jain threat to your security that you are not allowing us to enter the road leading to your house? Kindly intervene. Please do not feel so threatened by everyone. Regards (sic).”

Sunita Kejriwal should understand that her beloved husband is an uninvited guest who has overstayed his welcome at the LG’s residence. Why did she not call her husband to her home rather than going to meet her at the LG’s residence? The reasons for this could be numerous and even if she was allowed to meet she could have called him up or used Twitter, something Kejriwal and company rarely miss. Her tweet reeks of the same drama which we are so used to hearing from Kejriwal and company. It shows that Kejriwal had given her some inputs beforehand about how to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Her earlier tweets directed to the LG show that she is even better at playing the blame game than His Highness Kejriwal himself. Calling upon Karma, and praying for someone to fall ill to give in to their demands is not something which is expected of an ex-IRS officer (Sunita Kejriwal was an IRS officer herself.)
Making stupid claims and sensationalizing an issue have been the forte of Kejriwal, and now it looks like it is a family trait. Their plans of a family outing at the expense of LG Baijal have been razed to the ground, we now expect Kejriwal to get back to business and do something worthwhile for the people of Delhi who had chosen him as their CM.
On a side note, we would also like to inform Kejriwal that people are missing his movie reviews and today is Friday. Race 3 needs promotions and so do you Mr. Kejriwal, get out of the LG’s house and do some work.
