Subramanian Swamy’s Epic Trolling of JNU

Dr. Subramanian Swamy was invited by a students’ body Vivekananda Vichar Manch of Jawaharlal Nehru University to deliver a speech titled ‘Why Ram Mandir in Ayodhya?’ on the twenty fifth anniversary of Babri masjid demolition. The talk was to begin at 9:30 PM in Koyna Mess on 6th December.jnu subramanian swamyThe organizers were given permission in the university many days back on 27th November. However, the JNU administration abruptly cancelled the event at 4PM on 6th December giving almost no time for the organizers to act.

In a notice, the administration said: “The competent authority has decided that no talk will take place in Koyna hostel, JNU on 06/12/2017. Hence, the talk entitled “Why Ram Mandir in Ayodhya” which was going to take place in Koyna hostel has been cancelled.”jnu subramanian swamy

JNU’s romance with anti-nationalism and pro-separatist rants

JNU played a generous host and allowed anti-national sloganeering in the name of Freedom of Speech and events (held on 9th February 2016) against the hanging of terrorist Afzal Guru as well as against Brahmins where a bunch of anti-nationals shouted seditious slogans on the top of their lungs.jnu subramanian swamy

JNU has had a history of historians who derailed a peaceful resolution of the Ram Janmbhumi issue, as claimed by Dr. K.K. Muhammad, former regional director of Archaeological Survey of India.

Three professors associated with JNU, Romila Thapar, Bipin Chandra and S. Gopal argued that there was no mention of dismantling a temple before 19th century. This fallacy was born despite countless historical and archaeological evidences in favor of a temple at Shri Ram Janmbhumi.

Some of the historians, who appeared in Babri Masjid Action Committee, like Irfan Habib, R.S. Sharma, Athar Ali, D.N. Jha and Suraj Bhan too joined the JNU brigade in their false claims.

JNU’s Famed Tolerance and Freedom of Expression and how a simple event about Ram Mandir irked them badly

Dr. Swamy told in an interview yesterday that the leftist ideology has been hijacked by JNU and asked why couldn’t the university, which has been a big-time supporter of freedom of speech, tolerate a simple lecture.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy, holds a PhD in Economics from Harvard University, has served as an associate professor in Harvard, Professor of Mathematical Economics for twenty-two years in Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, it would be a pleasure of any university in the world to host a speaker like him.

Subramanian Swamy has expressed his views on rebuilding Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya extensively in his book ‘Rebuilding Ram temple in Ayodhya’ where he has cited facts from Indian Constitution, law, archaeological surveys and history whereas leftists continue to debate on emotions knitted with their clouded ideology.

JNU played smart by cancelling Karat’s event too

On the same day CPI(M) leader, Prakash Karat, was supposed to deliver a talk on ‘Reclaiming the Republic’ organized by JNU’s student union. The posters of the event said, “Demand for Justice Against Babri Masjid Demolition.”jnu subramanian swamy

JNU student union member Simone Zoya Khan told CNN-News 18 that they had the proper permissions to carry out Karat’s talk. Meanwhile the organizers of Dr Swamy’s event tried to get in touch with administration as both mainstream as well as social media erupted with the news of cancellation of Dr. Swamy’s lecture.

Details of the speakers of ‘Reclaiming the Republic’:

Prakash Karat: Communist Party of India (Marxist), ex-alumnus of JNU

Kavita Krishnan: Secretary of the All India Progressive Women’s Association (AIPWA), editor of ‘Liberation’, the monthly publication of the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (CPI-ML), ex-alumnus of JNU

Professor Jayati Ghosh: Professor of Economics at the Centre for Economic Studies and Planning, School of Social Sciences, at the JNU

Albina Shakil: Former JNU Student Union President

Later the administration cancelled both events citing ‘communal harmony and peace’ on the campus.

Karat’s Victim Card

Karat’s dying politics took a hit and a rare chance to get limelight was shattered post JNU’s administration cancellation of his event.

Karat said the university had taken a “very undemocratic step” in not allowing the talk on the anniversary of the demolition of the 16th century mosque.

“Disallowing discussions is totally against the traditions of JNU,” Karat said.

Subramanian Swamy laughed on the JNU Administration and claimed to have pinned them into submission

With Karat had nothing better to do on that day, Dr. Swamy who appeared in Ram mandir case a day before and exposed Kapil Sibal’s when the latter claimed that he was not Sunni Wakf Board’s lawyer by reproducing a Supreme Court order showing where Sibal is mentioned as a lawyer of Wakf board the very next day, laughed the event off and said in a TV interview that he had many better things to do.

Was JNU scared of Subramanian Swamy?

Subramanian Swamy’s continuous fight against corruption in cases like 2G, National Herald, politicians like Jayalalitha were enough to scare the leftists in JNU to their core. Swamy is like a raging bull who demolishes everything in his way. JNU may have feared that he could have enthused closet Ram Bhakts in the campus.

Subramanian Swamy emerged a winner even without delivering the lecture, while Karat comes out as a loser (and a collateral damage)

The event, if it would have happened, would have gained its bits on mainstream as well as social media but JNU’s resistance further derailed their stand in favor of freedom of expression and gave more publicity to rebuilding Ram Mandir than the event itself.

Subramanian Swamy, cool as a cucumber, took on JNU administration in his hilarious tweet with a YouTube link of a song with lyrics ‘Ram lala ham aayenge, Mandir wahin banayenge’ suggesting the university to play it every day.jnu subramanian swamy
