Exposed: Jaish and Lashkar’s Direct Links with Rohingyas

Rohingyas Jaish lashkar

In a previous piece published in Rightlog on 20/09/2017 it was detailed how the movement for a separate Kashmir, has turned into a Global war of Islam and caliphate, how Zakir Musa the head of Al Qaida Kashmir chapter has threatened Kashmiri separatists and locals with dire consequences if they don’t give up the cause of ‘Political Kashmir’ and start a fight for sharia and sahadat, and how Musa had taken up the Rohingyas issue and vouched support for their cause.

Rohingya Muslims are world’s most feared migrants in the history of modern world. True, a persecuted refugee groups are always expected to be docile and indebted to their host countries. Contrary to this basic human bearing, Rohingya Muslims are increasingly involving themselves in acts of deception and killings in Myanmar.

In October 2016 ARSA ( previously known as Harkatul Yakeen), attacked 3 police outposts in Maungdaw and Rathedaung areas in Myanmar and killed 9 police officers.

Last month ie on 25th August a small group of Rohingya Muslim youth attacked several Police outposts and killed 12 police officers. The Myanmar Army had retaliated and went in search for the killers. In the ensuing fight, nearly 400 Rohingyas reportedly were killed. This has triggered a mass exodus of Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar into Bangladesh and India.

Social Media managers on other hand have restricted terror groups supporting Rohingya Muslims on Facebook. Facebook in a recent statement has confirmed that it has taken off a virulent page ARSA ( ‘Arkan Rohingya Salvation Army).

By now it is well known that the Indian Government has filed an affidavit before the Supreme Court Bench hearing the case, in support of its stand to deport the illegal Rohingya Muslim immigrants from Jammu and Kashmir on the ground that they may pose a grave security threat to India and in particular, the Buddhist citizens may be targeted by them.

As rightly foretold by the Indian Government, last week, the security forces have spotted Rohingya Muslims escorting Terrorists.

This has exposed Rohingya-Jaish link. At Jammu borders Jaish operators were seen with Rohingyas acting as porters crossing the border. In view of this development, Indian forces have tightened the border areas as well the sea routes from Bangladesh and Andaman Nicobar Islands. Security in the valley has been tightened up and a manhunt is on to nab the suspected informers, porters and other terrorists. Indian Navy and coast guards have been put on high alert. Maritime surveillance aircraft have since been flying over the sea to spot those suspects who are trying to sneak into India through sea route.

What is causing more anxiety for Indian forces is, the links that have been established between the Rohingya refugees and the Terrorist outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed. The head of Jaish, Masood Azhar (the mastermind of Mumbai attack, Pathankot attack and Indian Parliament attack in 2001) is active in Pakistan administered Kashmir.

It is well known, how China on two occasions thwarted India’s efforts to get Jaish Head Masood declared by UNSC as an officiated terrorist.

However, China’s recent softening of stance at the BRICS meeting is noteworthy. The joint declaration that was issued by the five-nation group, which included Beijing as a signatory, mentions Pakistan-based Jaish -e- Muhammad, Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) as a threat to the region. In view of this development, India is now optimistic that in its next move China may not veto to declare Masood Azhar as a proclaimed terrorist.

In the latest move, Bangladesh has banned telecommunication companies from selling mobile phone connections to Rohingya refugees, citing security concerns for the latest restrictions. This will further strengthen the Government’s stand in the ongoing hearing of the Rohingya’s plea for a refugee status in the Supreme Court of India.

On Social Media, many have raised a remarkable question on Rohingya Muslim refugees entering Jammu in India from Rakhine which is situated 2,500 KM away from Jammu borders, when Lahore in Pakistan is just 100 km away.

Milli Muslim League +Lashkar+ Rohingyas angle

Lashkar Chief Hafeez Sayeed’s recently launched political party the ‘Milli Muslim League’ held a huge rally last month in Lahore and stated that it had started sending its own cadre to Myanmar to “help” the Rohingyas. The notable aspect is that the 25th August 2017 attack on Police posts in Myanmar took place within 10 days of Milli Muslim League’s rally in Lahore and Hafiz’s open statement that his cader is sent to ‘help’ Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar.

This is where our Indian intelligence sleuths expressed apprehensions, that Sayed may have started radicalising Rohingya Muslim youths in Rakhine.

It is further suspected that it could be part of Lashkar’s grand design in organising travel plans of Rohingya Muslim refugees to cover 2,500 KM into Jammu with a frightening idea of radicalising them and using them as ‘human shield’ to accomplish his political and communal goals.

However, it should be noted that the Rohingya Muslim refugee influx into Jammu has started way back in 2008 but in small numbers and continued quietly till now. But it has suddenly swelled into lakhs only after 25th August 2017 attack on Police outposts by ARSA men in which 12 Police officers were killed. This latest attack by ARSA men triggered violence and pushed Rohingya Muslim refugees in lakhs into neighbouring countries and caused the present pandemonium all over the World.

Once Indian forces take up in-depth investigations into the 25th August uprise of ARSA the treacherous plot behind the Rohingya Muslims illegal entry into Jammu can be unveiled. This will help India to further strengthen its case on International forums as well before the Supreme Court of India.
