On July 26, the students of Hyderabad University celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas by holding a candlelight vigil, and installing a temporary Kargil War Memorial at a junction near the shopping complex area, as a tribute to martyrs of the Kargil war. While the students said that it had planned to remove the memorial in a few days, Hyderabad University authorities allegedly removed the Kargil War Memorial structure on Wednesday night itself.
Why Universities are becoming anti-Army?

Those who have read the books on the communism know that it advocates “open discussion before the action” but be it Chinese Communist Party or Indian CPI & CPI(M) none of them indulge in “Open debate”. They pass few comments and then go hide.

We do it every year, but this time, we brought a wooden structure to depict a soldier’s memorial.”

Ghost from Past
The Hyderabad University has recently been in news for many not so good reasons, be it memorial for “Rohith Vemula” or “Prayers for Afzal Guru” and now demolishing a Kargil Memorial to remember our war heroes.
While the ABVP unit of Hyderabad University said that it had planned to remove the Kargil War memorial in a few days, university authorities allegedly removed the structure on Wednesday night itself.
Following this, the students returned on Thursday, and cemented the memorial.
“The initial plan was to keep it temporarily, but since the campus security removed it on the same day, we brought it back and fixed it. Now, we don’t want to let them take it down. It has nothing to do with politics, and we wanted to remember our Kargil martyrs,” he added.
Accusing the Hyderabad University administration of going ‘soft’ on others for their memorials, Uday also warned that any move to remove the memorial would attract protests.

I know your patriotism is no where lesser than mine and it pains equally when some one which zero credibility and zero achievements chants “Bharat tere tukde honge”, “Bharat ki barbadi tak jaung Rahegi” or “pro-Afzal slogans”.
