Amongst the chaotic situation that has consumed the politics of India these days, thanks to the cowardly attacks on our soldiers at both Sukma and Pulwama, the Central Government has become once again the new punching bag for both the ultra-right activists and the scheming Indian liberals. While the ultra-right took no time in divorcing from Narendra Modi, completely oblivious to the fact that the attacks were sheer signs of desperation by the forces who once dominated these areas and now on the brink of sheer extinction, the scheming liberals used this opportunity very well to create hatred for the victims in both the cases, and unleash the horrendous waves of sedition and cynicism.
However, in a revolutionary step for the first time in years, it seems that the Honb. Supreme Court of India is back to what it is famous for: delivering justice when needed. In a major decision taken a couple of days back, the Honb. Supreme Court quashed the pleas of the scheming Jammu & Kashmir Bar Council, which called for a blanket ban on the use of pellet guns by the state police and the centrally organized paramilitary forces.
Yes, remember the pellet guns? The very non-lethal bullets, by which the state police and the paramilitary forces had created a nightmare for the wannabe recruits of the dreaded Islamic State, and their stooges sitting comfortably in Pakistan? Well, they were disallowed by the J & K High Court, once the so called secular lobby, comprising conniving intellectuals and politicians howled on the top of their throats, against the apparent backlash suffered by the stone pelting mobs of the Kashmir Valley. Ever since Burhan Wani had been deservedly shot down, the stone pelting mobs have been more of assistance to the scheming agents of Islamic imperialists, who want to break India and bring her under Islamic rule.
However, unlike his pseudo liberal predecessor, Mr. Khehar would have none of this nonsense. When J & K Bar Council appealed for a ban on pellet guns against stone pelting, the panel of judges, led by Chief Justice himself reported the following statement in reply to the atrocious affidavit:-
“”If you suggest something within the framework of Constitution, we will assure you there will be a dialogue…..”
The Chief Justice also shot back at the J & K Bar Council, saying, “You must first tell us what you will do. Then we will direct the government. If you keep throwing stones, how will it work?”
What do we learn from this? Simple, until the state authorities of Jammu & Kashmir, including the judiciary, ensure that there is no stone pelting and obstruction in counter insurgency operations, the highest court of Indian judiciary won’t intervene in any respect. This means, that the state police force and the national paramilitary forces can use the pellet guns to their advantage against the murderous mobs of scheming stone pelters, as and when needed.
Shocked at the overwhelming support shown by the Supreme Court, a delighted NDA government, represented by Attorney General of India, Shri Mukul Rohatgi lauded the decision, and made the intentions of the Central Govt. on Kashmir issue crystal clear. He said that the government would come to the negotiating table only if the recognized parties participate in the dialogue and not the separatist elements. He made the submissions before a bench, comprising Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justices D Y Chandrachud and S K Kaul, while rubbishing the claim of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association that the Centre was not coming forward for discussion and dialogue to resolve the crisis.
So the picture now becomes clear. The government, under no circumstances, will bow down to the demands of the separatists. If they’re ready to use “people of the Valley as guinea pigs in their reprehensible politics of violence and separatism”, as said by Mukul Rohatgi, even the Central Govt. is not in any mood to budge from its position of no talks with separatists. With the arrest of notorious secessionist cum terrorist, Aasiya Andrabi, the situation only turns nastier for those, who’re thinking of snatching away Kashmir from us.
Yes, the road to reclaiming Kashmir back from the clutches of stone pelters and the traders of terror from Pakistan is not easy for us, and any sacrifice from our soldiers in terms of lives is nothing less than heartbreaking and blood boiling.
