Our support to a particular political party is never absolute. It is always issue based. While we may support BJP’s stand in say matters of religion, we may not like their equations with Businessmen. Likewise Aam Aadmi Party is possibly the best when it comes to political tokenism but when implementation is concerned, they come across as a bunch of novices.
Sometimes there is a lack of representation of a particular Political ideology. For instance most of the Political parties in India are leftist in nature. Even Congress the oldest party of India is inherently leftist in most of its outlooks.
Right doesn’t have a decent representation in India. BJP and Shiv Sena are the only two political parties that can be considered somewhat right to center. Hence for many supporters these two political parties are the next best choice.
