A new book by author and thinker Abhijit Jog, titled ‘Duniya Ko Khokhla Kar Rahi: Vampanthi Deemak’ (Termites: How the Left is Destroying the World through Subversion), has sparked a nationwide ideological debate in India over leftist thought. In this incendiary book, Jog aggressively criticizes left-wing movements, especially contemporary Marxist derivatives like “wokeism”, contending that these movements are twisting the concept of social justice and consuming cultural institutions like termites.
BJP Rajya Sabha MP and national spokesman Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi launched both the English and Hindi editions of the book at the book release function organized in New Delhi at Maharashtra Sadan. The function was graced by personalities such as Rajeev Tuli (Suruchi Prakashan President), Hitesh Shankar (Editor, Panchjanya), ex-BJP National Secretary and founder of My Home India Sunil Deodhar, and many others.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Trivedi said, “Leftism is not just termites—it is an addiction that has imprisoned three generations in a false illusion. It exists within a bubble of ideology, completely disconnected from reality. Our battle is not just political; it is civilizational.”
He further elaborated, “Since the 1970s, the Left has spread under the intellectual guise of ‘self-loathing’, ‘dissent’, and ‘rebellion’. But now, this illusion is breaking—movements like the Ram Mandir and Ram Setu stand as proof. In the times to come, AI and advanced technologies will play a major role in this ideological war.”
Institutions under Leftist grip: Rajeev Tuli
Suruchi Prakashan president Rajeev Tuli remarked, “The Left always claims that no matter who holds political power, institutions will remain under their control. Even when out of power, they maintain dominance over the system.”
Tyranny in the name of democracy—Hitesh Shankar
Hitesh Shankar, editor of Panchjanya, said, “Wherever leftist ideology has spread, it has hollowed out nations like termites. This ideology speaks of democracy but suppresses dissent. It romanticizes bloody revolutions, but in reality, it is synonymous with terror and oppression.”
Tripura, Bengal, Kerala—examples of Leftist destruction: Sunil Deodhar
Former BJP National Secretary Sunil Deodhar stated, “Leftist ideologies have left behind a legacy of chaos, exploitation, and suppression in India. States like West Bengal, Tripura, and Kerala are living witnesses of this destructive rule.”
He added, “Leftist governance always preaches socialism and equality, but the result is often corruption, disorder, and human rights violations. The people of India deserve far better.”
Abhijit Jog’s Book Ignites National Discussion
This event made one thing abundantly clear—it’s time for an open, honest, and deep conversation about leftist ideology. This is not merely about a political belief system; it’s a broader question that affects our society, culture, and national future. Silence is no longer an option.
Abhijit Jog’s book adds a sharp new edge to this much-needed debate. It is not just a collection of words—it is a sincere, thought-provoking voice that shakes and awakens the reader. Notably, the Marathi version of the book has already been reprinted ten times and continues to sell out, indicating a strong public interest and resonance.
This book isn’t meant to scare—it’s an open invitation to reflect, to think together about how to protect our nation from the ideological termites silently gnawing at its roots. It’s a call to action for all who love their country and wish to see its spirit, soul, and thought remain strong and resilient.
