The lawyer representing Disha Salian’s father has filed a gangpare and murder complaint with the Mumbai Police against Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray and others. It is alleged that Salian, a celebrity manager, died after falling from a high-rise residential building in Malad, Mumbai, in June 2020. Her death occurred about a week before her client, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai. Their deaths have long been shrouded in mystery and their cases had dominated national headlines as well as rocked Bollywood for several months.
Recently, Disha’s father made fresh allegations, asserting that a conspiracy was behind her death. He specifically accused Aaditya Thackeray and several others of involvement in the incident. Now speaking with news agency ANI, his father’s lawyer Nilesh Ojha stated that he has given a complaint to the Joint CP. During his meeting with Joint CP, Ojha stressed that they cited Bombay High Court guidelines that directs that a written complaint should be considered as an FIR, adding that the police official accepted it.

He added, “In this complaint, we have filed an FIR (sic) against Aditya Thackeray, Sooraj Pancholi, Dino Morea and Aditya Thackeray’s bodyguard for gangrape and murder. Uddhav Thackeray, Parambir Singh, Sachin Waze have been accused for coverup in this case. Aditya Thackeray, Dino Morea, these people are involved in the drug trade, this thing came to light in the NCB investigation… There is such a big nexus and there are many things that led to Disha’s murder, so we have given information about this…”

Other key details in the complaint
Ojha went on to allege that Parambir Singh, the Mumbai Police Commissioner at the time of the deaths of Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput, masterminded a cover-up to protect certain individuals.
“Parambir Singh was the mastermind behind the cover-up in this case. He held a press conference and fabricated lies to shield Aaditya Thackeray. The NCB’s investigation papers prove that Aaditya Thackeray was involved in the drug business, and this detail has also been mentioned in the complaint,” Ojha stated on Tuesday.
He further added that all necessary details and supporting evidence have been included in the complaint given to the Mumbai Police.
Previously, the lawyer claimed that eyewitnesses had seen actors Aditya Pancholi, Dino Morea, Aaditya Thackeray, and his bodyguards gang-raping Disha Salian before her death.
Disha Salian’s father has approached the Bombay High Court with a fresh petition seeking a reinvestigation into her death, sparking fresh political tensions between the ruling Mahayuti alliance and the Shiv Sena (UBT).
The case, which was initially registered as an Accidental Death Report (ADR), is currently being investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted by the government in 2023.
In his petition, Disha’s father claimed that on the night of June 8, 2020, she organized a party at her residence, attended by Aaditya Thackeray, Suraj Pancholi, and Dino Morea.
On his part, the Shiv Sena (UBT) leader has denied all allegations against him.
