The divinity, grandeur and spirituality of Maha Kumbh has been pulling devotees to the banks of Triveni Sangam of River Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. Now as the greatest Sangam of Sanatan Dharma is underway, stories, videos of non-Hindus or foreign tourists taking a holy dip and heaping praise on Sanatan Dharma is also going viral on social media. Now, moved by the principles of Sanatan, a Muslim man named Mustafa, son of an Imam, has embraced the folds of Hindu Dharma.
The latest case of Ghar wapsi has come to light from Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. As per reports, a Muslim man named Ale Mustafa left Islam and did Ghar Wapsi.
He took a bath with holy Ganga, Narmada water in Mahadev Garh temple of Khandwa. He also undertook part in Mundan Sanskar as well as ten other rituals. Subsequently, he also performed the Aarti of Lord Shiva and Bajrangbali while wearing saffron clothes.
Claiming that Bajrangbali was in his heart since childhood, Mustafa changed his name to Maruti Nandan as an act of reverence of Lord Hanuman.
Mustafa, now Maruti Nandan, is the son of a Muslim cleric
As per reports, Mustafa is the son of a Muslim cleric named Iqbal Ali who has been working as an Imam in a mosque for several years now. However, epics of Sanatan culture and Hindu Dharma influenced Mustafa since his childhood. Reportedly, Mustafa’s father used to worship in an ancient Ram temple in the same city where he was an Imam.
Mustafa embraced Sanatan Dharma under the supervision of Ashok Paliwal, the custodian of Mahadev Garh Mandir.
Ashok Paliwal asserted that many Muslim families worship Ram and Krishna in their homes. According to Paliwal, these families seek inspiration from Lord Ram-Krishna as they were their ancestors. Paliwal added that now these families have to be brought back to Sanatan Dharma by encouraging them.
What did Maruti Nandan say?
After returning to Sanatan Dharma, Mustafa, now to be known as Maruti Nandan emphasised that he embraced Sanatan Dharma out of his own free will and not under duress. He did Ghar wapsi because he liked Hindu Dharma very much.
He said, “I will also tell my friends to return to Sanatan Dharma.”
Maruti Nandan added that the DNA of their ancestors matches with that of Ram and Krishna.
A few days ago, two young men named Firoz and Imran had also returned to the fold of Sanatan Dharma. In Khandwa’s Mahadev Garh Mandir itself, more than 40 Muslim boys and girls have left Islam and done Ghar Wapsi.
