The Congress government in Telangana is not bothered about the increasing unemployment in the state but its leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, are busy raising the pitch for issues such as caste census by ignoring the pressing ones.
Even as the state government gets ready to conduct caste census, the educated youth are fed to sell vegetables on the roadside stalls.
They are highly educated people, who worked as professors in different colleges after securing degrees in engineering and other subjects.
A scene from a 2007 movie ‘Welcome’ wherein Nana Patekar was seen selling vegetables by repeating ‘Aloo lelo… Kanda lelo…’ showcases the situation in Telangana well.
The educated ones are now forced to work as hawkers and vegetable vendors in the Congress-ruled state.

In fact, seats for engineering courses in the state have decreased considerably, forcing the colleges and institutions to fire professors. After losing their jobs they were left with no option but work as delivery boys.
A professor of mechanical engineering told that he was being asked by the college to work for half the salary.
In such a situation, he quit the job and now works as a delivery boy.
He earns about rupees 600 a day from this particular job, and uses personal bike to offer bike taxi service to earn a bit extra money.
Achyuta says he used to get Rs 150,000 as his monthly salary but now everything is gone and he is finding really hard to support his family.
It is worth mentioning that before the Telangana assembly elections, the Congress had promised to ensure more than 2 lakh jobs within a year of assuming power.
Nearly 11 months have passed since the formation of the Congress government in Telangana but the youth of the state has got only false assurances in the name of jobs.
It has just turned out be an election promise resulting in unemployment in Telangana.
